Sammy Le is the fourth Remnant of Paladin Decen, representing Decen's unstoppable, unfathomable power. Possessing the essence of Tsukuyomi, the God of Night, Sammy is said to be one of the most powerful Remnants in existence due to his extreme versatility, seemingly indestructible body, and overwhelming power.

Sammy currently works alongside Guardian Merrow Rivenlight and his brothers to unite the rest of his kind to do battle against the Prime Aspect of Sin, Mogul. Goofy, silly, and coming off as a complete idiot, Sammy has acted as a symbol of positivity and hope among his brothers. However, Sammy reveals that he was a completely different type of person in the past. Due to the darkness of his past, Sammy decided to reinvent himself and become somewhat better, keeping his past a secret from those he cares about.

Specializing in predominantly umbralkinesis, Sammy is considered by most to be the strongest Remnant, with Remnant 1 being an exception.

Sammy's current alias is undecided.

Biography

Awakening

Sammy gained consciousness in the Boundary Realm, a region of the multiverse that is extremely secluded and near impossible to reach. This universe possessed laws that were unlike many of the other universes the Remnants came from, and thus, Sammy was born into an actual family. Raised by a biological mother and father. While Sammy's soul was Decen's fragment, his very body is not. Due to this, Sammy is not actually considered a biological child of Paladin Decen.

At some point, Sammy discovered his power to detach his soul from his body, and began to explore other multiverses as an astral projection. During this time, Sammy learned to harness his incredible power by using it in irresponsible ways, like mass destruction in a universal level. Sammy reveals in a flashback that due to his recklessness, his overuse of his powers caused his real body to fall into a long coma, trapping him in his astral state. Should he ever wake up, he would lose all the memories of his travels, as he was essentially in a dream state.

Because if this, Sammy decided that there was no way out, and thus travelled the multiverse to seek a new home, making as many memories as he could before his real body would wake up.

Fall into Genocide

Sammy reveals that during his multiversal travels, he encountered a girl named Leah. Attracted to her, Sammy decided to enrol in her high school and become a classmate. There, he would spend his teenage years attending Leah's school, and growing accustomed to life as a high school student.

After a few months, Sammy eventually grows close to Leah, and the two begin dating. However, during one fateful encounter, Sammy discovered that the girl he had become emotionally invested in was widely regarded among her fellow female classmates as a "slut", one who "sleeps around". Leah revealed to Sammy that in the past, she had many men ask her out, and even now, has had many classmates confess their love to her. Ultimately, Leah chose Sammy as he was her current boyfriend at the time.

Unable to bear with this news, Sammy's insecurity got the best of him, causing the Remnant to abandon Leah in a panic. Heartbroken and betrayed, Leah decided to get together with her step brother, Felix, and the two ended up sleeping together. Sammy, who had secretly been following Leah with his shadow powers learned of this news, and recklessly unleashed 75% of Tsukuyomi's power in a fit of rage. This display of power horrified Leah and kills Felix. Upon seeing Leah's horrified expression, Sammy realizes the gravity of his actions, and falls into a spiral of despair, believing himself to be a monster.

Sammy continues his rampage throughout Leah's universe, unleashing 75% of his power through the form of a massive black dragon, and sets the entire city ablaze with his flames. Sammy then proceeded to stampede through the entire continent, leaving worldwide destruction and billions of lives lost.

Believing himself to be at a point of no return, Sammy left Leah's universe, and went off into other universes to cause more destruction, believing the only way to move on was to keep killing and having the entire world against him. Living under the philosophy that it was easier to be hated than to be loved by people that hurt him, Sammy became a multiversal threat. His destruction spreading throughout dozens of universes and realms.

The Black Dragon

During Sammy's path to multiversal genocide, the Remnant encountered a realm that was ruled by multiple gods. Their children, the Legions, serving as their sword and shield and defending the lands. Reaching the city of Iaia, Sammy transformed into his dragon form and rampaged throughout the place, causing mass destruction and havoc. This invoked the Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades Legions to band together and fight back, but Sammy ends up defeating all three legions of adventurers.

Classifying Sammy as a global SSS tier threat, Zeus places a mandatory bounty on Sammy, and orders all adventurers, dungeoneers, and warriors to band together and slay the Remnant, who was now given the alias The Black Dragon.

In a titanic battle between the forces of Iaia and Sammy, the entire Hades Legion is slaughtered, and 82% of the adventures were killed. Approaching defeat, the gods themselves decided to intervene, setting aside their differences, and engage Sammy in a final push.

Despite this, Sammy continued to pressure the defenders of the realm, killing gods Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, and Thor. Nearing defeat, the gods order the adventurers to retreat, keeping behind their strongest adventurers to engage in a final stand against The Black Dragon, however, just before Sammy could unleash a devastating blow, the Remnant runs out of power, and exits out of his Dragon form. The gods restrain the Remnant and attempt to kill him, but Sammy escapes through a shadow portal just in time, leaving the universe and heavy casualties behind.

It was revealed that due to Sammy's destruction, the lives of a certain adventurer's mother and father were taken. This adventurer would grow up to become one of the strongest adventurers in Iaia, gaining the title Queen of Knives, the adventurer's name is revealed to be Calypso Rosewald, who vowed to one day avenge her parent's deaths by becoming powerful enough to slay The Black Dragon.
