The metal was created by, Franklin Carter and frequently embeds some of his power armors and other Nightbeast costumes with the metal, he is also willing to provide the government with supplements of the metal while not having to "donate" the entire formula due to fear of other possible super-villains trying to get a hold of it.

| − | *<b>Verbatim</b>: Verbatim is a mysterious metallic ore that fell from a meteorite during a meteorite shower back in 90's and landed in the outskirts of an abandoned town in Peru. The meteorite fragments were soon captured by the government and then given to scientists in hopes of possibly working the metal into an alloy that could be worn as armor. It was discovered that Verbatim was way stronger then Flexium and molecular structure was also different, it could absorb any kinds of energy or physical damage and it would just become more dense and harder with every hit, making the metal unbreakable.

Since then there have been many billionaire playboys out to recreate the Derma super-serum in attempts to create actual super soldiers.
