'''2012 - 2013''' : Delved back into his normal life. Quickly worked himself up as Assistant Manager. Had kept the Orb for sentimental reasons. Turned out to be a mistake, as the thing exploded two months, showering him in unknown energies. Mutated him extensively. Approached UNTIL for a cure. Minimal success. Got fired from day job after powers misfired and wrecked a sizable quantity of office materials and space. UNTIL now provides him with a modest stipend in exchange for 'services' and 'research rights'.

....After agreement from the patient, we'd taken a deeper look into his interior, after his X-rays proved to be blurry. What we found was disturbing. It looks like something ,or someone, tried to mimic bones, organs and meat from a human. But they only had a vague comprehension of the human body.

The skull was accurate enough, but the brain was definitely off. For one thing, a brain isn't pink. Secondly, the inner connections and brain stem were far too simplistic to support the subject's intelligence. His chest-frame had a similar theme : The ribs and spine were fairly accurate, but the organs. There were too few of them. A 'stomach','lungs' and 'heart' were there. However, the stomach seemed more like a fleshy bag. The lungs were certainly pumping air. But it didn't go anywhere. No veins, no nothing. It simply pumped. The heart just looked like a red tumor, pulsing to the beat of a normal heart. All in all, I'm certain that none of these mockeries of vital organs are actually vital to the subject...

Omnin's history

Excerpt from the UNTIL database:

File 1781 : Folder 'Summary of history'

1993 - 2009 : Lived in the Dairy Oaks Orphanage. Reason unknown: boy was found on doorstep one day. Never adopted. Applied for early leaving of the institute, which was accepted. No known misconducts or conflicts with police forces.

2009 - 2012 : Studied night courses on IT technology. Passed with some effort. Got accepted at Telocom as an IT employee. Was approached by Unknown R-14 in MC park near Club Caprice.

(Speculations surrounding this entity are still that. Warped plants and materials implies unstable magic-user or reality warper. Possibly a 'divine' entity, but mages assure me that this is unlikely.)

Received a magically-charged (presumed magically) Orb, which gave him his powers. Quickly decided to be a (part-time) superhero. Had a brief and mostly solo heroic career, until the Orb stopped working. Returned to civilian life after a brief minor conflict in UNTIL headquarters.

2012 - 2013 : Delved back into his normal life.
