Jaconous

Epilogue
Jaconous was laying in his cradle, crying out, as if he sensed something was about to happen. Persephone and Hades looked at him, and kept their eyes on their surroundings. It was hard to do so many things at once, but for their son, it was worth it. "I'll take them on, Seph.." Hades said, "You take the child and send him somewhere safe." Persephone was hesitant, but nodded. She quickly gathered him up and set him in a basket, before setting him down on the river, watching him float away with tears in her eyes. "We'll find you one day, my son!" She shouted, and Jaconous wailed in the midst of his tears. Two days later, a man picked the basket up and cradled the babe in his arms gently. "Hello, youngling.." he cooed. "I am Malachai De' Ikamel." he said, wiping the babes tears away. "Let's get you into the warm temple and you'll be safe." he said gently, taking him to his temple.
