Origins
Born into a cult based out of South America, Roak was raised to serve as a soldier loyal only to the master. There were many like him, some being orphans, or willingly given over to the master by their parents. Each child was kept sheltered from the world for the most part, only taught basic academics, and any materials that might prove fruitful for their future duties. Aside from this limited spectrum of knowledge, their dedication and loyalty was constantly reinforced during their upbringing. After a certain age, and deemed physically able, the children began their combative exercises, and participated in a rigorous and unforgiving training regimen. Those who would prove unable to keep up with this training would eventually be dismissed, rejoining the community to serve in other ways. As a result, numbers dwindled, and very soon there were no more than thirteen elites receiving this tutelage. Roak would nearly be dismissed a number of times, but in the end would manage to complete his training, and prove his capability to his master on many occasions.
