Arsanios Licita, born Arsani Price is the adopted son of Kirin Licita and Caterena Licita, members of the house of Licita who were cursed to never conceive. Licita is the biological younger brother of Rogue Tennen Deka Price, making him a Tennen. However, during the Void Incident, the young Tennen lost part of his memories, and while the older brother lived his life as a warrior, Arsani was adopted into the house of Licita by the Lotus, having discovered that Arsani did not possess an aptitude in combat like Deka.

Arsanios lived a peaceful and loving life with his parents in the house of Licita, until The Second War with the Sentinels destroyed his home and family. Forced to learn The Way of the Tennen, Licita was given a Battleframe and conscripted into the Tennen armies to battle the Sentinels alongside the Orakin.

Despite possessing a poor aptitude in weapon modification and building, Tennen mentor Troyest of the Space Gladiators noticed that among all of the Tennen recruits, Licita possessed above average reflexes and technique. Licita's skill with his Battleframes offsetted his poor modification and building abilities, allowing the young Tennen to quickly climb up the ranks and fight in the Sentinel War. Licita was deeply inspired by Tennen legend Zennen Lith, master of the Ash Stealth Battleframe, and Space Gladiator Leader Quorra Lavine.

Due to his admiration for Lith, Licita practiced and designed his own Ash Battleframe to greatly mimic the Tennen Legend, but at the same time, wielding the pole arm, similar to Quorra's fighting style. With Lith and Lavine's fighting styles engrained in his load out, along with his uncanny skill, Licita became feared in the Origin System, gaining the moniker Arsanios the Shadow of Death.

At some point, Licita discovered his true identity, the younger brother of Deka Price. Learning of Deka's apparent betrayal from Lavine, Licita harboured a deep hatred for his older brother, believing he had abandoned him when he had lost his memories from the void, and betraying not just his kind, but also the only family he had left.

Appearance

Arsanios possesses a very similar appearance to Deka Price, due to the two being brothers. Like Deka, Licita's eyes are silver, slightly glowing at the irises, and possesses silver hair along with a slight tan. However, unlike his brother, Licita clips his hair short into a military cut. Of the two brothers, Deka is the more muscular, with Licita being of a slimmer but more athletic body.

After the Tennen discovered that Arsanios was in fact the younger brother of Deka Price, born Arsani Price, the young Tennen was brutally assaulted by several of the higher ranking Tennen, leading to the left side of his face to suffer severe scarring. These scars underwent an infection, causing the flesh around the wounds to become silvery metallic in appearance.

Licita wears a pocketed combat vest, on top of his Tennen suit, and smelters greaves that line his legs in an armouring fashion. Along his neck is an Orakin scarf that covered his mouth and lower half of his face, which was a gift from his adopted mother, Caterena Licita.

While in disguise as Abaddon, Licita's scars are tinted tan to resemble normal scars. Arsanios wears a black peacoat, and his scarf is lowered to reveal the lower half of his face. Licita's eyes are tinted blue, and his silver hair gains a blonde hue to match the Terrans on Earth. Licita's Firedrake and TMD Pistol Knives are concealed under the coat in their compact forms.

Personality

During his childhood, Licita was raised to be polite and caring from his adopted parents, ignorant of his true nature as a Tennen. Licita would have a fondness for baby Alphon puppies, playing with the house pet after school.

However, after the events of the Sentinel Invasion on the House of Licita, Arsanios watched his parents sacrifice their lives for his safety. Traumatized by their deaths, Licita believed himself to be too weak, and during his conscription to the Tennen army, Licita's sole purpose was to kill every Sentinel in the world. The overwhelming bitterness and hatred along with his trauma caused Licita to become pessimistic and antisocial. Despite this, Licita still respected noble Tennen figures, including Zennen and Quorra. After working hard to make a name for himself as the Shadow of Death, Licita was temporarily recruited to the Space Gladiators, and fought alongside Quorra.

During the events of a certain mission, Licita discovered that he was the younger brother of Tennen Deserter Deka Price, causing most if not all of the Tennen to shun him and banish the boy from the clan. Filled with bitterness and believing that Price had chosen to abandon his younger brother and renounce himself, including his own blood, Licita swore to destroy Deka for everything he had done to him. However, it was revealed by Lavine that under all that hatred, Licita still had a heart that was broken and yearning to see his older brother again.

The two years of banishment from the clans forced Licita to live and fight on his own, without the assistance of his brethren. During his travels, Arsanios met and befriended a young woman in the city of Luam, who was subjected to abuse by her older brother due to being the one to possess the Argos Gene, which permitted the use of ancient magic. With Arsanios treating the young woman, who's name was Eria, aboard his ship, the two became close, and Arsanios developed feelings for her. These feelings were shown by fierce protection over Eria from her older brother, leading to his reveal as Arsanios the Shadow of Death. Realizing that his younger sister was under the care of an infamous Tennen, the older brother renounced her.

Following the events of his reveal, Arsanios offered Eria a home by his side, reasoning that he and her have been through thick and thin, and that he can provide her with he protection from her older brother. In actuality, Arsanios wished to have her hand in marriage, however, Eria reveals that she had already accepted another. The shocking discovery that Arsanios had unfolded was that although Eria was eternally grateful to Licita's kindness, there were already many in Luam who had also treated her the same way, and that one in particular had been a childhood friend of hers. She and him developed romantic relations, leading to her becoming his fiancee. Devastated, Arsanios allowed Eria to marry, and watched as the woman he loved left his side for another.

Feeling betrayed, Arsanios developed a pessimistic outlook on his life, believing that being good would lead to no results. Licita's belief was that if he had chosen to walk a path of good, in the uncountable population around him, at least a thousand men would have done the same. As a result, Arsanios decided to live a life of bloodshed, as he fell under the belief that "if [he] lived a life of pain, not many would follow [his] path". A road to walk alone just as he did all these years, and to not have his feelings contested by others who followed the same route.

Arsanios' bloodlust for Deka was easily noted, during their first encounter on Earth. Deka was unable to recognize his younger brother, but was able to identify his movements as possessing "the grace of a Tennen, but stained with rage". While possessing the skill of a high ranking Tennen, Licita's anger clouded his judgement, limiting Ash's agility and allowing Deka to fight back with Umbra despite being at a disadvantage.

Licita has no regard for social norms, and is willing to harm anybody who gets in his way. An example of this was when he used his Firedrake against Rinne, nearly killing her before Javlok intercepted and took the attack head on. Licita described Javlok's protective nature over Rinne as "disgusting", then proceeded to declare that he would kill a woman the same way he would kill a man.

Combat Prowess

Way of the Tennen: Despite possessing poor affinity for weapon/frame modding and building, Licita possessed unnatural technique and skill with these weapons. During a sparring match in which all gear was equalized, Licita was the first recruit in history to best Tennen instructor Troyest of the Space Gladiators in hand to hand combat. Troyest claims that if Licita had top end weaponry and Battleframes, his combat aptitude would pressure even Zennen, who is regarded as the strongest Tennen of all time. During Licita's fight against Deka, the younger brother initially was able to outmatch the older brother with Abaddon, who was not a combat Battleframe. Licita also easily overwhelmed Javlok.

• Ninjutsu: Licita learned the basics of stealth and martial arts from Troyest. Licita's skill with Ninjutsu made him a prodigy, excelling in all of its aspects. As the Shadow of Death, Licita's skill to outmaneuver bullets allowed him to fight hordes of enemies despite wielding a weaker but higher damaging variant of the Ash Battleframe. Licita's skill was often compared to Zennen due to the multiple parallels between their fluidity. Licita frequently wields a pole arm in combat, taking inspiration from Quorra. Paired with his stealthy takedowns, Licita possessed both deadly skill, but large range in his attacks.

• Firearms: While not to the same level as his Ninjutsu, Licita possessed an aptitude to firearms, and was considered slightly above average in his marksmanship skills. Preferring to use snipers and dual pistols, Licita is capable of both long and mid-range combat.

• Gear Modification: Licita was trained in the art of gear modification as a Tennen. However, his skill in this field was severely lacking, as Licita possessed a very small percentage of modifications on hand, leading to his abilities to be severely bottlenecked by this deficiency. Despite this, Licita counteracted this bottleneck by copying known load outs, as shown when he copied Zennen's load out.

Void Abilities: As a Tennen, Licita is capable of the standard Tennen void abilities, including void energy projection, intangibility, and movement. However, due to his lacking modification abilities, Licita has yet to produce any equipment to bring out his void abilities to its fullest.

Battleframes

Primed Ash: Licita's preferred battle frame, the Tennen's skill with Ash was honed down to the finest detail. In skill alone, Licita's Ash was strong enough to fight toe to toe with his older brother's Mayen-Ash Umbra for a brief time, which was said to possess multiple Battleframe abilities along with the spirit of Tsukuyomi and Javlok.

After Licita's loss against Price, the younger brother returned to his home Origin System to upgrade his Battleframe into its Primed variant. After priming his Battleframe, Licita wanted to return back to the past to engage his older brother once more, but his actions were forbidden by Lavine, who stated that Licita's resentment and thirst for revenge would negatively impact Ash's calm and efficient style.

Abaddon: Licita's secondary battle frame, Licita prefers using Abaddon as a "disguise frame" to mask his identity as the Shadow of Death. Abaddon is capable of dark powers, summoning deceased corpses, shapeshifting and feeding off the life energy of his opponents. Licita's proficiency with Abaddon was average at best. However, since Abaddon is capable of manipulating its physical form, Licita typically masks his Battleframe in the guise of his natural Tennen body passing off as human while also retaining its abilities.

Weapons

Primed Weapons

Primed Harkon: Licita wields a primed variant of the Harkon rifle, a sniper that was once used by numerous Tennen in hunting Berserker Sentinels. The weapon possessed incredible damage but was somewhat bottlenecked by Licita's lack of Primed modifications. Nonetheless, the sniper rifle was used by Licita both in long and short ranged combat, due to the Tennen's superhuman reflexes.

Primed Twin Wellman Machine Pistols: Fully automatic battle pistols that were later primed, Licita used these weapons when he needs to defeat opponents that his polearm is too far to reach. Licita's skill with these pistols are average for Tennen standards, but the damage was considered mid-tier, as it was capable of bringing down somewhat respectable enemies.

Primed Lancer: The Lancer was Quorra Lavine's signature weapon, as the Tennen Legend herself was known to be able to defeat massive hordes of extremely powerful enemies with a single swing. Licita's skill with the Lancer is inferior in comparison, due to his poor modifications for the weapon, however, combined with copying Zennen's fighting style, Licita is able to cunningly dispatch enemies in a similar method.

Unprimed Weapons

TMD Double Pistol Knives: Licita's primary weapon when undercover in the past to pursue Deka Price, these weapons were used by Licita to fight foes while maintaining his confidentiality. The two weapons featured a "gun" mode and a "knife" mode, allowing the Tennen to fight both in melee and in ranged. The primed variants of these weapons were used by Tennen Legend Zennen himself, allowing Licita to skillfully wield them using his imitated style. With the weapons being poorly modded, the TMD was inferior to more powerful adversaries, but was enough to dispatch the enemies of the past.

4M Barrel "Firedrake": The Firedrake is Licita's secondary undercover weapon which he uses in conjunction to his Abaddon Battleframe. Capable of emitting a powerful stream of ethereal flame, the 4M Barrel Firedrake is used by Licita to control the battlefield. Although the Firedrake is an extremely common weapon amongst mid-tier to high-tier Tennen, Licita uses the weapon in an unorthodox way, by wielding it with one hand and performing wide flamboyant acrobatic movements, the flames of the Firedrake are so widespread that not many opponents are able to evade the heat.

In terms of overall damage output, the Firedrake is Licita's strongest weapon in his entire arsenal, however, Licita's adherence to his hero Zennen's style keeps the Tennen from using this weapon often.

Judicator: Licita carried a Judicator gunblade that had been gifted to him from Quorra Lavine. Because of this, near the start of his journey as a Tennen, Licita was extremely fond of the gunblade and used it frequently alongside his polearm. However, after learning that Deka and his first mate, Samuel Mayen also possessed a Judicator, a primed variant in fact, the young Tennen became bitter and swore to never use it again.
