Backstory

Born into a family of simple farmers, Axus lived the life of a normal child. He had a home, he had friends, and most of all, he had two loving parents. Being a only child, he had all of the attention he could ever want. His life was perfect, that is, until a new group of bandits made their base of operations near the village he lived in. From then on, the village was tormented day after day, forced to give up what little they had. Those who didn't often went missing, only to be found hanging from a tree in the nearby forest. After a while, the bandits had gained enough numbers to storm the village completely. They showed no mercy. Killing all who stepped in eyesight, the bandits eventually arrived at Axus' house. His parents quickly hid him away, attempting to fend off the fiends as long as they could. When the smoke cleared, they were gone. Only a few bandits and some blood remained. Eventually, Axus managed to muster up the courage to step out of the closet. His home was in ruins. Burned to the ground and ashes everywhere. As he walked throughout the village, he became more and more lost, for in the village, not a body was found. No corpse, no remains, nothing. Then he remembered the forest. As he walked, his heart sank and he began to realize the horror before him. From every tree, hung a body. His friends, his neighbors, and his own parents. All the death surrounding him, all the pain, was to much for him. With the image now scared in his mind forever, Axus ran from the sight. Months passed and Axus, now taking refuge in a cave, has lost his mind. Unable to remember his life before hand and unable to feel the pain of the forgotten memories. Though on one night, his life would change forever. With the sky was pouring rain, the clouds cracking thunder, and the night as dark as death, a meteor fell. The meteor hit the earth with a force strong enough to wake Axus. Following its trail, he stumbled upon the crash sight. To his amazement, the crater only held a rock no bigger than a infant. As he approached the rock, it began to glow a a brilliant orange. From its beams, a sense of warm sunlight touched Axus' skin. Despite it being an extremely bad move, he touched the rock. When he did, the rock's entity entered Axus' body. He felt an exhilarating rush of the entity course through him and his skin began to show a multitude of orange markings. When the rush ended, a voice from beyond spoke to him, stating that he now held the power of the Strength Force.

Presence in the city

Axus was found, in a cryogenic-like sleep in a cave on Mount Everest. He was later transported to Millennium city by UNTIL and unfrozen there.

Personality and Appearance

Axus is a giant of a man standing a solid seven feet tall. He is at the peak of physical fitness, despite being rather aged, and his body is covered in scars. He is quite bitter and cruel to ones who randomly run up and start asking about his life, but if you give it some time, he is really quite nice, despite having a tone of voice even a grown man would fear. Those who get a word or two out of him, they soon see that Axus has complete disregard for modern culture, often misunderstanding the cultures slang or activities, almost like he is still living in the past. However, he does enjoy a good fight and talk of melee weapons. Any questions of Axus' past will go unanswered due to him being an amnesiac, however if anyone asks of his family, they will be ignored as if something happened to them and he remembers. Clothing wise, he does not wear much other than his girdle with a strange white sheet tied around it and quite a bit of bandages and tape, due to the fact that he isnt bullet proof and his body can still be pierced.

Powers, Abilities, and equipment

Strength Force

When Axus was a child, he adventured out into the wilderness and stumbled upon a mysterious meteorite. Unknowing of what the meteor held, Axus touched meteor and the cosmic entity later identified as the Strength Force entered his body, granting him superpowers.
With his new powers, Axus gained:

• God-like Super Strength: With the entity flowing through Axus, his physical strength has increased to an inhuman amount, comparable to the Mighty Hercules. Although great, it is not limitless.
• Extreme Pain Tolerance: With the help of the entity and some self training, Axus is able to shrug off an enormous amount of physical pain. However, his body can still be pierced.
• Longevity: As long as the entity remains in his body, Axus ages slowly.
  
• Solar Usage: Axus is able to absorb the energy from the sun to ignite his blade and regain energy quicker.

Abilities/Equipment

Axus' Special abilities.

• Wrestling: Expert in the sport.
• Throwing/Archery: Axus is able to remain accurate and hit targets when throwing or shooting from great distances.
• Acrobatics: Despite his massive frame, Axus is surprisingly agile.
• Gridiron: Axus' weapon
• Hydraulic Piston Arms: Axus power arms, nicknamed Honor(left) and Glory(right).

Gridiron

Forged in the heart of an active volcano, unable to be broken, and only loyal to the one who kills its previous owner, Gridiron is certainly a weapon you wouldn't want to be at the lethal end of. This weapon has the power to ignite itself using the solar energy absorbed. Oddly, Axus cares for his weapon as if it was his son, and any attempt to make him part with it would be a death wish. No one really understands why Axus cares for his weapon so much, most think of the weapon to be awfully simple and dull in design and think he is crazy, but this thought is usually overlook once those who question the bond of Axus and his weapon see how well they perform in the battlefield.

Hydraulic Piston Arms

Strong. Majestic. Muscular. These are some of the words that explain Axus' mighty robot arms. Nicknamed Honor and Glory, these babies are packed with several hydraulic pistons at generate a great amount of strength to compensate for his missing, real arms. Though, these pistons are ironically fragile, and need great protection to be of any use. Around these pistons are special gauntlets made with nano-weaved titanium, making them four times stronger than normal titanium ones. To power them, his heart has been cyberneticly altered to send energy to his arms. Energy sent is taken from his Strength Force.
