Axus himself gives no indication of letting anyone in on the truth, this being because of massive amnesia and his reclusive personality. As the stories described it, Axus' skill at killing these unkillable beasts was a thing of beauty; it talked of how he ripped them from the skies with the utmost brutality and finished them off like it was child's play. However, the threat of dragons was great and seemed impossible for one man to complete on his own. So the dragon slayer traveled to every kingdom in the region to teach them special tactics and ways to take down a beast themselves.
