Backstory

Only fragments of stories talk of Axus' past, tales of a mysterious giant of a man who was said to have the strength of an entire army. Tales of a man who could move a mountains, of a man who could challenge a god's power and win. Though, these were pasted on as just myths, but now that he walks among the people of Millennium City, questions have been raised of if these tales are true. Axus himself gives no indication of letting anyone in on the truth, this being because of massive amnesia and his "closed book" attitude. Thought the only thing he can remember is that he was reanimated by VIPER to be used against the Champions, but he instead appealed to the Champions sense of Heroism, rather than VIPER's evil. So now a member of the Champions, he fights back the ever growing wake of evil to protect the innocent and his new home.

Personality and Appearance

Axus is a giant of a man standing a solid seven feet tall. He is at the peak of physical fitness, despite his old age due to complications of rewinding it during his reanimation, and his body is a gallery of battle scars. He is rather bitter and cruel to ones he doesn't know, so engaging in small talk or any conversation in that matter will usually be ignored. His tone of voice is extremely deep and robotic, due to his cybernetics, sort of like this. Around his waist, he wears a blue belt that is tied to his forgotten past.

Powers

Strength Force

In is his past life a meteorite fragment fell from the stars, penetrating his head, and lodged itself there upon impact. With the meteorite in his head, Axus is granted powers through a cosmic entity known as the Strength Force. The entity, now absorbed in the meteor, sends plasmic energy through his body, supercharging it. His body being supercharged grants him:

• Unbound Strength: With the energy constantly flowing through Axus, is physical strength knows no bounds. However, Axus needs to be in sunlight or moonlight to help fuel his strength. Without one of the two sources of light, he can only lift extreme weights for a short amount of time.
• Super Durability: With his cells being supercharged, they are able to make themselves harden, making Axus' body semi-invulnerable to most forms of damage
• Solar Absorption (Super Endurance): The meteorite can absorb the energy rays given off by the sun or the moon at night to keep Axus going. This helps out by reducing the amount of work the meteorite has to do on its own. For the meteor to be able to absorb the energy, the light rays need to touch his skin. Also, he can channel this energy to his hands for a more powerful punch.
• Power Punch: Axus is able to derive from the energy gained by his solar absorption and heart, then channel that energy to his fists (or feet for kicks) for a more devastating hit, though he needs a special pair of boots/gloves to control how much is used.
• Longevity: His overcharged cells slow is aging rate.

Cybernetics

After being reanimated by VIPER, they decided to put him in their Cybernetic program to give him a variety of cybernetic enhancements to help him survive his powers drawbacks. His enhancements are:

• The V-01 Cybernetic Heart: This enhancement was installed because the reanimation process damaged his heart and its ability to pump blood and oxygen. His new heart fixed that problem and now also produces Nano-bots that form a protective covering over his vital internal organs and can also absorb all physical and non-physical damage sort of like an anti-metal, though the nanobots transfer the absorbed energy into Axus' hands for a more devastating punch. ( Magic, elements, etc.).
• The V-01 Cybernetic Skeletal Infusion: Axus entire skeletal structure has been infused and covered with a unknown metal mixture given the name Titanium Ultra. This infusion makes it impossible for him to break any bones and is also supports him when he lifts heavy weight.
