Background

Map of Burmursal.

In a timeline where Earth's tectonic plates never shifted, keeping the land as one whole and going under the name Burmursal, two civilizations are constantly at war with one another. The left half of the land mass, loosely based off early Greek and Roman civilization and watched over by God Bur, is separated into three clans and within them, four legions. On the right, which is loosely based off medieval England and watched over by God Mur, an immortal tyrant rules with an iron fist. In the middle lies a mountain range holding a ancient castle, where eventually a chosen warrior, a child born with the blood of God Bur or God Mur, from both sides of the landmass will battle to the death to see which civilization will rule the entire landmass and which god reigns supreme. Durrk, the right half's dictator, has already appointed himself as the "chosen one." As for the left..."

"What do you see in this boy," God Bur says to his wife as they overlook the birth of Axus from the clouds. "I see a leader, a champion, and apparently, he is born with your blood." "Bah, he is much to small for that to be true." "You have doubts of your own blood?" "Well, when my 'blood' is no bigger than my hand, yes. You'd be wise to think the same." "And you would be wise to have faith." "No. He will not make it past his first year." "You are the God Bur, and with your blood inside this boy, how could he be anything less than amazing?" "...Maybe you are right....maybe...

A young Axus, the age of 16, stands in front of his father, Argor, behind him, an arena awaits. Today is his trial of age, where the boy must fight an incredible beast to prove he is ready to be a man. if he does not succeed, he will become an outcast and sent away from his home. "My son, at first I had my doubts, but it seems you have proved me wrong in every way..." "I will not stop today, father, for today I become a man." "Ha Ha! That is the spirit," the Arogr said proudly, grabbing Axus by the shoulders. "Now, go out there and take what is yours." As the gates opened, Axus grabbed his gear and stepped into the arena. The crowd began to roar as the boy moved towards the center, holding his arms out fearlessly. An older man stood and the crowd silenced, "Today, this boy stands before you, ready to prove his worth! Ready to show you why he is ready! Ready to earn his man-hood! Let the god Bur protect this young warrior in his trial of age! Release his challenger and let this battle commence!" The crowd once again began to roar, chanting Axus's name over and over again. He put on his helmet and readied his weapon, gripping the hilt with all his might. From the opposite side of the arena, a Minotaur stepped from the opening. All across it's body were scars and marks from battle past, and across his waist a belt displaying his collection of human skulls. The beast, with a fierce snarl, instantly charged the boy, who easily side stepped it. In a flash, the beast turned around and charged once again, leaving no dull moment in the battle. The second charge caught Axus off guard, flinging him into a pillar of stone. Gasping for air, he stood up, trying to regain his form. From the beast, a slight chuckle was heard, "You are no fighter, boy! You could barely escape me at my slowest. Lucky for you, I plan to make this quick, for I am Turabohldt, slayer of man!" The beast advanced toward the boy, swinging his heavy fists, only to have them blocked by the Axus' shield. "You are weak, human! Only a coward hides behind his shield!" After several blows, Turabohldt punctured the shield, landing a fist strait into the boy. He then grabbed the boy and flung him across the arena. "This is what passes for a man these days? You are weak and puny, and I will be proud to mount your skull on my belt!" The beast slid his hoofs across the dirt below, getting ready for another charge. Raising to his feet, the boy threw away his weapons and prepared for another blow. As Turabohldt reached the Axus, he was surprised when he did not collide with the him, but with the his hands. The young Axus had caught the beast mid-charge and stopped him in his tracks. With one quick motion, Turabohldt was forced to the ground as one of his horns was torn from head and plunged into his skull. After a short burst of extreme pain, all was silent. The deed was done, Turabohldt was no more. The boy raised his hands to the sky, "The beast is dead!" At that moment, the crowd of on lookers rose to their feet, cheering and chanting his name once again. "Axus, Axus, Axus, Ax-"

"Ahhhh!... oh, it was only a dream." Axus looked around him, only to see emptiness, nothing but streams of light and pure darkness. Again he remembered, this is the Loop of Infinite Time, were he has been locked in an endless, repeating cycle of time for his tampering with the Fabric of Time, the Fabric being the what holds all timelines and reality in balance and in place. Slowly, Axus has began to loose his humanity, trying desperately to latch on to whatever memories he can, before they are taken away from him. "Must remember. cant... cant remember.... I have to try." He beings to call out names of his favorite pass times, what foods we wish he could have, what people he has killed. Tears roll down his eyes, as figures from his home arise from the darkness surrounding him, "Why did you kill us?" "You could have saved us." "You could have done more!". "Please!" Axus cried out, "I did all I could, I-I-I...." He dropped to his knees, begging the figures to forgive him, "What more could you want from me! I did all I could!" All the distress began to cause Axus to spiral down further. In an attempt to save what little sanity he had left, he incapacitated himself, triggering another flashback.

Role

Personality/Appearance

Powers/Additions/Equipment

Strength Force Prime and the Beyond:

-Longevity: Being tied to the Strength Force Prime has made Axus Ageless, keeping his peak of human life appearance and age.
-Absorption: All energy and force Axus comes in contact with can be absorbed and used to his advantage. However, all the absorption can over saturate his body, causing unconsciousness.
-Endurance: This ability is based on Axus' ability to pace himself and how fast he burns his usable energy. Once his energy is used up, me must recharge for several minutes at a time and this recharge state leaves him with momentary deadly fatigue and muscle spasms until recharged.
-Hahkun. The Skyborn Cloud-Cleaver: After the death of Jjagur Skyborn, Hahkun's loyalty and possession switched to Axus. Originally, the weapon held the power of a raging hurricane, allowing the weapon to control the winds and grant flight, but once Axus entered the Fabric of Time, it gained the ability to manipulate gravity. This gain of more powers still remains a mystery to Axus, as he recalls little of what happened in the Fabric. It's oddly shaped head is forged from Loukk Metal, giving it it's bluish tint, and its handle is made from superior Cedar Wood, proudly showing its beautiful red color. Though a weapon of great strength, Axus has broken it many times, although its only ever been the handle due to the amount of force and pressure Axus swings the weapon with. Jjagur, however, did leave behind his stash of extras he had made, because he too had the same problem.
-Threads of the Golden Goat: High within the Burmursal mountain range, a big horned goat with a coat of magical gold tormented all who step foot in his territory, that being a majority of the mountain range itself. As Axus' second task as a prospect of strength, we was sent to kill the goat and create a relic from it's remains. Upon arriving to the goat's den, he was met by the beast and the two began an epic power struggle, Axus being the victor. From the magical golden coat, Axus created a belt and a plume for his helmet, and together the two grant him with an exceptional amount of magical power and protection. Most notably, Axus can call upon magical lightning and create portals.
-Helmet Collection: A series of enchanted helmets that Axus wears. Despite their varying appearances, they all have the power to block most psychic manipulation.
-Champion Wrestler(Grappling): Despite his common use of a weapon, Axus does not shy away from hand-to-hand. Trained by his worlds masters of the technique, Axus has many forms of grappling at his disposal, his go-to being wrestling. -Champion Boxer: Along with wrestling, Axus was heavily trained in the sport sport of boxing, albeit it went under a different name where he learned it.
