History

Origin

Axus is an out-of-time hero from an alternate earth and the Champion of the Strength Force, a entity that grants him with boundless physical strength and might. As a war between civilizations tore the world apart metaphorically, a major fracture in the Fabric of Time, a void in the universe responsible for control and balance between all time and timelines, was taring the world apart physically. The moon was on a crash course with the surface, volcanoes and earthquakes raged non-stop, and the planet's core was slowly dissipating. In a last ditch effort to save his world, Axus opened a portal into the Fabric of Time with the help of the Strength Force, hoping to find some way to fix all the disarray.

As Axus entered the Fabric, he discovered that the fracture was caused by an alternate Axus going under the name Commodus, who tried to explain to him that destroying his world was for his good and critical to his destiny which lines with the heroes of Millennium City. Caring nothing for his words, Axus fought his alternate self, only to have him disappear mid-battle. With the cause of the fracture gone, Axus turned to his world's portal, only to find it gone, leaving him trapped within the Fabric of Time. For six thousand years Axus would search for his home, desperate to see the outcome of his actions.

The six millennia dragged on for what seemed to be forever, leaving Axus in a state of complete madness. In his uncontrollable state of insanity, Axus started destroying the Fabric from within, fracturing timelines, but from the numerous fractured portals entered several different Axus from those timeline just as he did six thousand years ago. One by one, the Outraged Axus began cutting down the endless ranks of his alternate self, being able to overpower each due to him absorbing the energies given off by the Fabric of Time. With only five remaining, the alternate Axus devised a plan to push the Outraged Axus out of the Fabric. The five then forced the Outraged Axus to a random timeline portal, lucky enough to find the timeline that houses the Champions and Millennium City. From behind the portal, the time traveling hero Steven Planes-Walker and the alternate Axus going under the name Commodus grabbed the Outraged Axus and pulled him from the Fabric.

Once out of the Fabric, Axus was subdued by Commodus and Steven, who then helped him regain his sanity. Commodus then explained to Axus why he took him from his home all those years ago, as his destiny lines with the Champions of Millennium City and the future events that will unfold with them. As Commodus finished, he collapsed to the ground, obviously suffering from an sickness. Steven then let Axus that Commodus and himself where dying of a terminal illness that will soon take them both. As they both succumbed to their illness, Axus inherited the Sunbelt Apparatus Formula from Steven and the Power Bolt Enigma from Commodus, adding them to his power pool along side the Strength Force. From that point, Axus has remained in this timeline, following his destiny set before him.

Powers

Commodus
Steven Planes-Walker

Cosmic Fountain

The Cosmic Fountain is an endless surplus of Cosmic energy trapped within a pocket dimension. Despite being hidden away, it is the supplier to many super powers, these super powers being known as Conduits to the Cosmic Fountain. Axus alone is in possession of two Conduits, those being:

  • Strength Force:

Gained from a meteor that fell from the sky on his alternate Earth and a Conduit to the Cosmic Fountain, the Strength Force is an entity that allows Axus to bend the laws of physics with extreme Physical Strength and Might. At first, he was capped at around 500 Tons, but when he gained the Power Bolt Enigma, it became seemingly limitless, as the two entities agreed to coexist within Axus, boosting one another's powers.

  • Power Bolt Enigma:

Inherited from the dying Commodus and a Conduit to the Cosmic Fountain, the Power Bolt Enigma is an entity that binds to a host and gives them the traits of a genetically superior super human. As Commodus passed away, the Power Bolt Enigma seeped from his body and into Axus. Despite Axus already hosting the Strength Force entity, the two entities have agreed to coexist, boosting one another's powers.

Sunbelt Apparatus Formula

Created by the time traveling hero Steven Planes-Walker from the 31st century, the Sunbelt Apparatus Formula is a mutagen that converts direct sunlight into a healing factor and power augmentation for a limited time. However, once Axus consumed the formula, it mutated and adapted to his altered physiology, allowing Axus to also store a vast amount of absorbed sunlight, prolonging the effects of the formula when not in the presence of direct sunlight.

List of Major Abilities/Traits Granted

  • Supreme Super Strength: As seen so far, Axus strength is limitless. He has been seen lifting aircraft carriers from the ocean and stopped collapsing buildings with ease.
  • Supreme Super-Human Physiology: Axus' DNA and genetic make-up have been perfected, making him faster, stronger, tougher, and more agile than most meta humans.
  • Superhuman Durability: With skin and muscles more dense and resilient, Axus' body can withstand almost any attempt to puncture it.
  • Superhuman Endurance: Along with a super durable body, Axus can also ignore vast amounts of physical pain and stress.
  • Superhuman Resistance: Axus is able to resist normal human diseases and sicknesses, as well as magic attacks.
  • Superhuman Speed: Using his superhuman leg muscles, Axus can run at great speeds. He isn't the quickest, but he is fast enough to reach speeds of around 100 MPH.
  • Superhuman Agility: Axus is able to dodge most attacks thrown at him, at times even catching blades and bullets mid-air.
  • Eye Beams: Axus can send volatile energy from the Cosmic Fountain beaming from his eyes.
  • Flight: Power given to all Conduits of the Cosmic Fountain. Allows the users to take flight.
  • Solar Absorption: Axus can absorb and store solar energy, giving him a healing factor and further augmented powers.
  • Immortality: With the everlasting entities living withing Axus, he has become ageless and unable to die, until both move from his body.

Flex-Tech Battle Suit

Created by Harmon Industries, Flex-Tech is a nigh-invincible full body suit that is able to resist almost all incoming damage while maintaining its perfect condition. The suit comes with several different appearances and interchangeable armor pieces.

Weaknesses

  • Mental Attacks: Any and all mental attacks can affect Axus, due to his complete lack of mental power protection.
  • Cosmic Fountain Whiplash: Over use of his various powers can put Axus states of extreme fatigue, leaving him drained of his powers and vulnerable.

  • Cosmic Anti-Matter: Form of mutated Cosmic energy that slowly nullifies Axus' powers when in direct contact.
Notes

  • All in all, Axus and his story are very confusing. I understand some plot holes can be found, but this his how I imagine it and the only way I know how to tell it.
  • Yes, I do change the story a lot. I have a problem, I know. However, expect this to be the last rewrite.
  • Axus may seem very overpowered, but I simply compare him to Superman, who himself is extremely outrageous in his own right. However, this is mostly based on out-of-game story telling, taking small bits and pieces into account when playing in-game. In-Game, Axus is a Heavy-Hitting Melee Damage Role with lackluster defense.
