Once upon a time, there was a mountain peak that ripped through the clouds, where the only object in sight was the Sun. The Sun granted life to the planet, giving all that walks upon is surface a certain irreplaceable warmth they could get no where else, but on the peak that ripped through the clouds, her glorious rays were at their max. Basking in the mythical sunlight said to give wonderous powers and the Sun was ever so willing to give out this power. However, the trip to the peak was impossible. Not only would one risk a frozen tomb, but such a prize was easy bait to those with ill intent. So, the Sun, growing more weary and lonesome as time passed on, retracted her rays of life from the world and hid behind the clouds. The lush, prosperous landscape became a bleak tundra within days. The life that needed the Sun's embrace began to withdraw and die out. This would have been the end of the story if not for Axus. Unknown to those around him, he was easily passed off for another dreamer. As he walked through the blizzard, they last thing they could make out was his distinctive yellow sash. Soon after his disappearance, sunlight once again reached the lands. Those bunkered down to avoid the horrid weather came from their homes to see the life returned all around them. Many questions were raised of how the sunless drought ended, but the one that stood out was what happened to Axus. Those brave enough walked the path to the peak, oddly missing of the bandits and thugs that once plagued the area. Once they reached the top, there was no one to be seen. With a closer look, lodged under rock where the light shined brightest was a yellow sash. Those who knew the truth erected a statue in his honor, wrapping the sash around the statue's waist in hopes their hero would return.
