History
Axus hails from the city Thebes, the birthplace of the mighty hercules. Only fragments of legends talk of Axus' past, tales of a mysterious giant of a man who was said to have the strength of an entire army. Tales of a man who could move a mountains, of a man who could challenge a god's power and win. Though, these were pasted on as just myths, but now that he walks among the people of Millennium City, questiona have been raised of if these tales are true. Axus himself gives no indication of letting anyone in on the truth, or talking to anyone in general because of his Latin tongue. Despite all of this, one thing is known for certain. Axus is here and here to stay. Now a member of the Champions, he fights back the wake of the ever-growing flow of evil, ready to protect the innocent and his new home.
Personality and Appearance
Axus is a giant of a man standing a solid seven feet tall. He is at the peak of physical fitness and his body is a gallery of battle scars. Despite his intimidating appearance, Axus is mostly quiet and wouldn't hurt a fly if he didn't have to. He speaks fluent Latin, barely understanding any English. His tone of voice is extremely deep and echo-ish.
Powers
Strength Force
With the meteorite in is head, Axus is granted powers through a cosmic entity known as the Strength Force. The entity, now absorbed in the meteor, sends plasmic energy through his body, supercharging it. His body being supercharged grants him:
- Super Strength: With the energy constantly flowing through Axus, his physical strength magnitude has sky-rocketed to an uncalculable level.
- Regeneration: The cells in Axus' body can use the energy to repair damage taken at an extreme rate, but bones cannot be repaired.
- Solar Absorption: The meteorite can absorb the energy rays given off by the sun to keep Axus going.
- Longevity: His regeneration slows his aging rate.
Cybernetics
Due to damages caused by the meteor, Axus was put in the Harmon Cybernetics Program. The program gave him a variety of enhancements to replace what was disabled by the meteor. His cybernetics are:
- The HT-01 Cybernetic Heart: This enhancement was installed because the petrifaction process damaged his heart and its ability to pump blood and oxygen. His new heart fixed that problem and now also produces Nano-bots that repair what his regeneration isn't able to.
- The HT-01 Cybernetic Arm and Leg: The meteorite left Axus unable to use his left arm and leg. They were later removed and replaced with the new cybernetic ones, which can draw power from his plasmic and absorbed energy to equal their strength to his right arm and leg.
- The HT-01 Cybernetic Skeletal Structure Stabilizer: To keep Axus' bone structure from being damaged while lifting extremely over sized object, it has been infused with a titanium frame which supports him while lifting heavy objects.
Weakness
- Supreme EMPs- These are EMPs that cause Axus' cybernetics to shut off, even his heart. Only used by Harmon Tech if needed.
- White Sun- Prolonged exposer to the light of a white sun will cause Axus to go in a coma-like state.
- Planetary weight- Taking on the weight of a world single handedly, will cause Axus to go in the same coma-like state.
