Benjamin Fong

Benjamin Fong, ASCENSION designation SPART205, and later, known amongst the Remnants as Warchild, is the second Remnant of Paladin Decen as well as the boyfriend and later fiancé to a past version of Coraline Jensen.

Specializing in ranged weaponry and long range combat, along with his innate Remnant ability to generate highly destructive Nanopower, Ben comprises most, if not all, of the ranged military might of the Remnants, with no one seemingly approaching the Remnant in marksmanship skills and ranged firepower. According to Ben's younger brother, Deacon "Fury" Chow (Remnant 3), Ben's marksmanship skills surpass even Meena Kennedy's, who was regarded as The Organization's greatest soldier.

Ben's body is unique from the other Remnants, as it had undergone the ASCENSION SPARTAN Endoskeleton Surgery, essentially grafting cybernetics to his internal skeleton and replacing many of his core organs with computerized modules. Because of the surgery, Ben is considered a cyborg, with its own cybernetic enhancements paired with his innate Remnant abilities. This provides Ben with more utility than his brothers.
