When the doctor began to speak everything sounded fuzzy. After running some basic test the doctor informed Cat that if not for her enhanced strength then she would have likely been crushed under the rubble of the building she was pulled from. Confused by the news she argued with the doctor that she is no super being. The doctor attempted to calm her and assured her she is just confused from the coma she had just awoken from."You didn't have any form if ID on you when you were found, and no one has come by to check on you accept some boy that claims to be a friend of yours" the doctor said. Cat also denied this claiming she has no relatives and no friends in Millennium City and, lying, she also said she could not remember her name. Before making his exit the doctor advised it will all come back with time and that for the time being rest is all she needs. Cat knew it would lead to trouble if anyone found out who she was. At her first opportunity, she escaped from the hospital and back into the Westside.

The Beginning

Catlin Corinthos was born a normal, not so super human, in Detroit Michigan in 1989 to a wealthy family. She was orphaned just three years later 1992 after Dr. Destroyer's historic attack on the city. Catlin, along with many other children, were sent to a hospital on the outside of the town to live as an orphan until Detroit was rebuilt as the current Millennium City. Once the city was rebuilt she was transferred to a new orphanage in the new city's Westside. She grew up as the city went through a major transformation.

~2005~ The Westside

Millennium City has become a city known as a hub for superheroes. However the Westside, Catlin's hometown, is known as a melting pot for criminal activity. She was no stranger to trouble and discovered she had a strange passion for stealing. It was not the stealing she loved though, rather the excitement of getting in and out without getting caught. By the time she turned 18 she had grown a reputation for her trade as a thief and was often hired to perform jobs for some of the local gangs. While she worked exclusively for no one, she worked often for the Maniacs, the Black Aces and occasionally the Cobra Lords. She eventually made enough income so that she left the orphanage and rented an apartment in the Westside.

~2009~ The Heist

Catlin, now called Cat for her prowess as cat burglar, was hired by the Black Aces for her most significant job yet. The Black Aces somehow gathered details of an impending Qularr invasion coming to Millennium City. Cat's job was to break into the corporation Cambridge Biotech and steal a proto-type super serum while the city was under attack by the Qularr. They offered her 500,000 upon delivery and safe transportation out of the city, away from the oncoming destruction of the Qularr. She accepted without hesitation. When the alien invasion began the city went into a frenzy, fearing a repeat of the Battle for Detroit. All eyes were on the aliens, all eyes except for Cat's. She used the air ducts to get into the building. She only saw two guards on her route, their eyes glued to the news broadcast on TV. Not only could she see the chaos, but she could feel the building rumbling as a war was raging across town. When she came to the chamber that was holding her prize, she felt what could only be described as a major earthquake and she took cover inside of a desk. After a few moments it ceased. Once it seemed safe, she grabbed the serum, stuck it into a container the Black Aces gave her to transport it in and made her escape through the vent she came through.

Cat stealing the Serum!

She took a peak outside and noticed the war had consumed the entire block. Cat was an excellent thief, but she by no means was a superhero capable of standing up to the aliens. She made a run for it to an abandoned building across the street where she could take shelter temporarily. With the exception of inhaling a large amount of dust, she made it safely into what appeared to be a warehouse. After catching her breath for a few moments she pulled out the container and removed the serum to take a closer look at what the Black Aces were so interested in. Looking at the specimen she became so curious she nearly forgot of the dangers outside, until she felt another earthquake. This one was not quite as strong as the previous one. Either way she didn't come this far to loose her 500k to curiosity. She went to put the serum back into the container when she heard a rumble followed by a loud thud and was suddenly blinded by dust. The roof was collapsing and she couldn't see anything through the dust storm the collapse was creating. Serum still in hand, she ran for what she could make out to be a door handle. Holding into the serum in one hand she lunged for the door with the other right as everything went black as the roof came down.

When she finally came too for a brief time, she noticed she was not in the leveled building, but in some grassy area. Next to her was a blonde-haired boy she could only assume was responsible for saving her. For the second time in what felt like seconds, everything went black again.

~2010~ The Recovery

When Cat finally awoke it was January 2010. She was in a patient bed at Mercy Hospital in Millennium City. She heard some chatter right outside of her room. Moments later a doctor entered with a chart. Cat, still being confused from just waking up didn't know what to say to the doctor at this point, so she sided with silence. Cat knew something was drastically different and she new more questions would come. She also new she would be in serious trouble if they found out who she was. At her first opportunity, she escaped from the hospital and back into the Westside.
