Each year the Bungling Brothers Travelling Circus would participate in a U.S.O. show for the troops. As Charles Putman prepared for his amazing "Human Catapult" finale, Grond (attracted by the boisterous festivities) leapt in amidst the performers and soldiers. In the chaos a piece of staging struck Putman's cannon just as it went off. PHWOOM!!! he went, skyrocketing off course and landing into a sandpit that was right at that moment being used in a Top Secret army experiment. The experiment altered Putman, giving him the ability to manipulate earth. |
