Overview

Formed on 25 May 2006 in an alternate dimension by Elizabeth Báthory as an Haven (Court) for vampires, demons, ghosts, zombies, mad scientists, werewolves and the likes. It has therefore a ver gothic horror look and feel to it. These creatures of darkness gathered to protect and help each other while hunting for food, blood or test subjects without too much hassle of the local crowded spandex (hero) population.

The general public usually will find one of our members when it's already too late. The countess herself is believed dead... died walled in her own castle in August 21, 1614... and in fact she did so cause that was the day she became a member of the undead. If you must try and find the court... try the building in the DEMON area, but I advice to bring silver bullets, roses, garlic and guns.

Affiliations

The Court has known bonds with darkness... The Council of X is a very good excample.

For special tasks the countess needs professional killers... She employs a handful of ninja's from the Kokuryū-kai (the Black Dragon Society) for this task.

Ultimate Goal

The court and her countess desire nothing less then to be able to roam the isles and her surroundings freely for that which they crave... be it blood, food or test subjects. To reach this goal the court is becoming the power behind the power... Controlling puppets in high places while staying untouchable.

Member Roster

The blood countess has gathered vampires, werewolves, demons, zombies, ghosts, mad scientists, witches, sorcerers, necromancers and ravaging aliens into her court.

The Blood Countess

Her will is law... her compasion non-exsistent... It is the countess Báthory who created the Court and it will be her word that all shall listen too, or face her torturing devices!

The chosen replacement for the Blood Countess. Treat him as you would treat her. A demon of considerable power especially over the mind who sworn complete alligience to the Blood Countess.

With such a diversity in races the court needed a firm faction leader system. The Dark Templars are each governing a part of the court that is build up by members of one race.

Like the Praetorian Guard of the Roman Emperors... These are chosen warriors for special services and tasks. Proven in battle, and handpicked by the blood countess.

Scientific Division

Amoung all races who reside in the Court several have a pronounced know-how of the science. Be it alchemical, biological, technological or any. These persons are enlisted and given special rights to enhance the armies of the Court and to develop better weapons. Also the security of the Sanctuary Building henceforth named 'Castle Bathory' is their responsability.

Those who hasn't showed their specific area of expertice and therefore fitting in one of the higher functions fit here... If they are also creatures between life and after-life. The undead are vampires, ghosts, wraiths, zombies and the likes. Those who where once alife but are now ' better'.

Werecreatures

Those who hasn't showed their specific area of expertice and therefore fitting in one of the higher functions fit here... If they are also creatures who are changelings. Able to shift between human and animalistic form. The werewolf and the werecat are obvios excamples.

Demon Spawn

Those who hasn't showed their specific area of expertice and therefore fitting in one of the higher functions fit here... If they are also creatures who are of the race of ' Fallen Angels'. Angels and Demons are actually the same race. Other-dimensional or divine creatures... Immortal and powerful. Amoung the demons are those who have fallen into darkness and enjoy it!

These new members still have to prove their worth to the countess. Not less lethal then the higher ranks they are not to be taken for granted. Also.. humans and aliens will find their place in this category.

Activities

The court usually spends their time hunting around Millenium City. Occasionally diverd in a raid on Lemuria also. They also train a lot in the arena. Every Monday and Friday at 20:00 there is a gathering in the castle that became known as 'Manic' Monday and 'Freaky' Friday. The court will start large teams from that and an occasional Task Force will come out of it.

Castle Báthory

When the countess started rebuilding her court again she chose a large gargoyle guarded gothic building near the university on some islands ruled by fear and hate. This to remake a home that could look as much as her original home the Castle of Csejthe, in present-day Slovakia... It would be called Castle Báthory.

The new 'castle' was build within the building but holds also several layers beneath the ground where we can find crypts, vaults, mage rooms and the works. A large power core powers the labs used by the several scientist who build new monsters, robots or just have fun with bodies. The large main hall held tp modules powered by magic and a library. The dungeons made way to sleeping quarters, crypts, and the Sanctum Sanctorum.

Amids the several labs was a bio lab, tech lab, arsenal and alchemical lab... Together holding a number of containers and enhancement units usuable by all members who are Court Knight and higher in rank.

The Castle is home to most members and the countess herself rest there too... and as such on her move to Millenium City there was a replacement needed. Elizabeth bought the top five floors and the penthouse of a building in the DEMON controlled area of the city. The mystical ambiance and being close to city central made her choose the location.

On the roof there is a two-floor penthouse Elizabeth uses for her private space. It has many of the things she collected over her past 400 years, a fireplace, and a small emergency arsenal. The balcony helps her to get in and out undetected when needed. The adress of the penthouse is on her under-cover name 'Eliza Thábyro'.

Next to her penthouse is a huge skylight in the building roof. The skylight looks down on a three store 'sanctum' where the Court's nerve centre is placed. Elizabeth has her coffin there... and it holds her library and sanctum sanctorum. The place has a small meeting table and her crying mirror.

Behind a book case is a hidden elevator going to the depths of the building where a stone staircase goes even lower. There can be found a cavesettlement. This cafe is hard to reach and secure. It is also soundproof and has connections in the tunnels to the sewer system of Millenium City. Here there is a small arsenal and places for the more feral and demonic of teh court to keep hidden away from the heroes in this great city. Stored here are more dark crystals that can be used for far-scrying.

The Blood Journals

Inside the castle lies a collection of books that include Elizabeth her personal diaries and a collection of exploits written down by the various members the Court has. These books are called the Blood Journals.

It is free for all members to record their actions in these pages that could have any effect on the court. So that others can react when needed.

Adversaries

All who oppose us will learn that we are not to be taken lightly... the wrath of the countess is terrible... and her court is just as blood thirsty.

Top of the list are those who activly hunt our members down. Groups like the Champions and their stupid sidekicks are way up there...

The latest and for now the most dangerous are a renown group of monster hunters called Nighthunters. They specializes in hunting vampires, demons, and all forms of beings that are a threat to humanity. Also the Hyenas do this kind of thing. Although their reason is profit. Both are high on the hitlist of the Court.

Most recently there have been fights with members of Global Justice...
