The Yeti are a reclusive species primarily inhabiting the Himalayan Mountains. Little is known of the Yeti as the species reportedly tends toward aggression and few who've come across them survive. Speculation places the Yeti as a primate similar to the Sasquatch of North America, though DNA studies on alleged Yeti body parts are typically linked to bears. Whether this is because the Yeti are an evolved form of bear or all evidence thus far has been a hoax (much evidence clearly have been hoaxes as they pointed clearly to modern bear DNA) is as of yet unclear. The general population typically considers the Yeti to be a mythical creature. A common nickname for the Yeti is the Abominable Snowman.
