James "Jimmie" Goran is better known to the general public as Credonus. Using his gift for particle manipulation (granted to him after a brief stint as a Qularr test subject), he fights alongside the heroes of Millennium City... Though not many of his colleagues seem to know much about him. A quiet recluse, Credonus prefers to avoid small talk and only seems focused on the business at hand.

Career

When he isn't battling evil as Credonus, Jimmie Goran is a teacher by day, musician by night. Of course, this double-life within a double life tends to stretch Jimmie pretty thin, and he often has trouble making ends meet in one or more parts of his life. Add on a hectic family life, and it's no wonder why much of the superhero community is surprised whenever Credonus makes a public appearance.

Family

Jimmie Goran is fortunate to have come from a solid upbringing. Born an only child to Jeoffrey and Sherry Goran in 1985, he enjoyed a quiet upbringing in the sub-urbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His father, an electrical engineer, taught him resourcefulness. His mother, a part-time nurse, taught him compassion. Together, these qualities would prove to be the fuel that would make him become a superhero once he received his powers, on that fateful day...

History

2009

-Credonus first makes his appearance during the Qularr Invasion, after successfully escaping from the Qularr ship which experimented on him and gave him his abilities.

-Credonus helps the Champions fight the first Bloodmoon.

-By assisting in putting a stop to the Stronghold Breakout, Credonus catapults himself to national renown.

2010

-Credonus follows the Champions to the Qlipthotic, but is left behind following the final battle.

2011

-Credonus is finally rescued from the Qlipthotic when UNTIL stumble across him during a separate excursion. Credonus spends much of the next few years in hiding, recovering from his harrowing stay in the other dimension.

2013

-Credonus makes his return in the summer, joining up with the Prometheus Union in order to make his presence more known. -One night, on patrol during a Blood Moon, Credonus puts a stop to the particularly powerful villain Anathemor in a one-on-one matchup. This makes him an sensation for the next few weeks.

Powers

Following the experiments of the Qularr, Jimmie found himself with the ability to control the molecules in the air around him. This gives him a wide array of useful abilities, from healing himself to freezing the air around him. More often than not, he uses his powers to ignite the oxygen around him, enveloping his enemies in flames which he proves impervious to.

Following his long and harrowing stay in the Qlipthotic, Jimmie noticed a side of his personality which he has tried repeatedly to suppress. This darker persona seems to be less afraid to use Credonus's powers to their maximum level; however, they are always used for chaos rather than order.
