| − | When Jon was born in Vibora. Soon after his mother become terminally ill. Which then cause the family to move to Millennium City for better treatment. A Five years after the move. Jon's mother died due to brain tumor. His father become depressed and crawled into a bottle to help him cope. He was like Jon. Happy, Funny, Witty from time to time, But the thing is Matthew was a terrible liar. Using Alcohol to cover his woes. Two months later Matthew died coming home from the bar drunk. He hit a semi on the freeway. Thus making Jon...An orphan. Linda Richards then took Jon in at the west side orphanage. There he meet a few people that would become important to him. Above others are Greg Williams and Mike Ashby. This trio would become Free Running Parkor entertainment for the Orphanage. Calling themselves "The Red Feathers". This attracted some attention to Jon as a few people would notice him. One of those people being Ryo Aisukage, The Shadow-Wing. Not soon after his stay at the orphanage he would be out running. Finding himself face to face with a burning building in the down town area. He decided to run in to help. On this encounter is the first time he met The Shadow-Wing face to face. Using the MMA skills to take out the Purple Gang thugs in the building while using his Parkor skills to move back and fourth getting people to safety. It was in this moment that Shadow-Wing knew how useful the boy was.

After tailing him he found the entrance to the Crow's Nest. Realizing Ryo was in fact. The Shadow-Wing. After that he became Cardinal. Shadow-Wing's sidekick. The second Cardinal. At the age of Thirteen he fought alongside Shadow for many years. Until he finally turned 18. He felt he was too old to be the Cardinal. The "Sidekick". After a long debate. After knowing that Ryo's true son Akira. Who was now five. Almost six would some day become Cardinal. He felt it best he left. He needed to be his own hero. SO he set out to become The Crimson Cardinal. With gear given to him by his step brother Christian Cole. He even got a bike he called "The Red Feather" after his Parkor trio. He then left Millennium City to head back home to Vibora Bay. There he took to the streets as The Red Wings that protect the city.
