(Continued from link.) The most recent bloodline was a set of three sisters--the eldest with Nightwolf blood received from her father, the middle child trained to be an assassin, and the youngest intending to be a field medic. Their parents were a medic and an officer injected with an experimental Nightwolf serum. These three sisters grew up--Sierra, Mareike, and Mitzi--and moved into a house together. Sierra was the first to marry and bear a child, followed by the quiet and reserved Mareike. The only catch was that Mareike was not married, and refused to identify the father, lest the Captain be demoted for his affair with her. Mareike gave birth to a girl nine months later and named her Engel.

Engel was loved by her family members. Mareike was able to take Engel to her caring father for a time, however the older Engel became the more distant he had to become. By the time that Engel was three, she could no longer see her father, or else she could recall his face and identify him. Little Engel's sorrow for this passed swiftly, and within a week her father seemed to be forgotten. Mitzi and Nachthund both weren't all interested with Engel, but Mareike and Sierra both pampered the toddler and made her feel right at home. Unfortunately, Mareike became fatally ill when Engel was two, and over time it had worsened. Before Engel could turn four, Mareike peacefully died at home under Mitzi's care. It had become the sisters' job to raise Engel from there.

Mitzi still refused to have anything to do with Engel. Sierra gladly accepted the burden of raising Engel as one of her own. As Engel grew, Sierra's son Nachthund became more fond of Engel, and soon the two were the best of friends. Neither one would be seen without the other. Eventually that number grew into three when Engel found herself a female Japanese exchange student by the name of Tsuboki. The three playmates spent morning and night together for the years to come.

Sierra and Mitzi had never seen eye-to-eye. Between Mitzi's schizophrenia and Sierra's instinct to be the dominating female at times, Mitzi eventually decided that she had had enough with Sierra and wanted her gone. The straw to break the camel's back was when Sierra found the files that bled out in detail how Mitzi would turn Engel into the "perfect assassin"--all files which had obviously been founded by Mitzi's not-medicated schizophrenia. After Mitzi countered by planting evidence promoting Sierra as working with a rival organization, Sierra was listed for execution by the 5th Column. Sierra was unable to evade this fate, and after a key promise and goodbye to Engel and Nachthund, Sierra left their house. After engaging in combat and wiping out half of the executioners, Sierra was shot down on the outskirts of Berlin. Engel was eight at the time of Sierra's death. Engel grieved over the loss of her beloved aunt, and never knew why she had died or if she had been framed.

Engel had learned to understand that Mitzi wasn't fond of her, and while Engel still loved her, she knew to keep her distance. Nachthund ultimately helped in raising Engel, all through schooling and training to become an assassin like her mother. Engel became as close to Nachthund as she was to Sierra, and while Tsuboki was still a favorite female companion, the family bond between the cousins was inseparable. Engel joined the 5th Column when she turned seventeen, and Nachthund was her partner in crime.

However, Engel had become old enough for Mitzi's experiments to take place. Whether or not Mitzi saw the experiments as being good for Engel or for her own personal gain, she set the dates for the first of the experiments--the augmentations. The new recruits and their partners were set out on missions to raid the bases of the same rival organization that Sierra had been framed with. The Cyclos family members branched out within the base, and when there was an opening, Mitzi turned on Engel. Engel was aware of her aunt's mental condition and assumed that Mitzi couldn't recognize her, but when Nachthund attacked Mitzi to save Engel, he was shot down by three doses of neurotoxin to the skull. Engel was unable to save her cousin, and stayed by his dying body until his last breath. Nachthund repeated the same promise which Sierra had used, and after Engel again enforced the promise, Nachthund died.

While Engel was busy grieving over the loss of her loved one, Mitzi tranquilized her and erased Engel's traces. To the world, Engel had been killed by the organization. But in reality...

The Augmentations

(NOTE: Skip over this section if you are the faint of heart. These were all added directly after Nachthund's death unless otherwise specified. Over half of the following augmentations are no longer applied to Engel. The ones which are still applied will be marked by *.)

Conscious:

-* Wrist blades passed down from Mareike were drilled into place in Engel's bones at the wrist. This made Engel permanently armed, however the blades were retractable. This process was repeated over the next year until they were equipped properly.

- Mitzi believed that sleep wasn't necessary, and that fatality could come in the blink of an eye. Because of this, Engel's eyelids were removed and had an implant invisible to the eye to keep her eyes moistened. Engel's eyelids were replaced by black, threaded stitches to close the wounds.

- Engel's lips were stitched shut with the same stitching used on her eyes. The reason for this addition is unknown, but is suspected as being used so that if Engel is ever captured, she can't give away any information.

Unconscious:

- Respiratory system "upgraded" to being able to withstand harmful fumes, dust, or smoke. Ventilators were added on the sides of her neck, where air enters through whenever Engel breathes in through her nostrils or mouth.

- Skin-colored latch to eat and drink through was added to Engel's neck. This was necessary as Engel's lips had been stitched shut.

-* Technology was added to Engel's immune system. This technology speeds up the healing of wounds, increases Engel's metabolism by a set amount, and extends her lifespan/greatly slows the aging process.

-* Makeshift flamethrowers were added to the underside of Engel's wrists. These are significantly smaller than the average flamethrower, and were originally nowhere as strong as one. The Chaos enhancement Engel has improves the strength of this fire and buffs it considerably. (These were added after Engel joined the Tower in CoH years before Millennium City.)

- Had a microchip planted in her skull to serve as a mock shock collar. The chip was used for a short time before being removed and disposed of by Death Excell. (This was added and removed after Engel joined the Tower in CoH years before Millennium City.)

-* Demon wings were shipped in and added to Engel. The original intention was to use steampunk-themed wings, however the wrong shipment came in and Mitzi was impatient. The addition of these wings do not make Engel a demon. The wings were implanted through science and were not spawned by Engel herself. (These were added after Engel joined the Tower in CoH years before Millennium City.)

Friends and Foes

NOTE: Section coming soon.

Friends

Dimentio:

Fun-loving, charismatic, and always housing a few tricks up his sleeve, the corrupted mage known as Firaxis Dimentio was the first friend for Engel to come by after entering the Tower. Cyclos was busy disciplining Engel for a mistake by the use of physical force, but Dimentio decided to get in the way and drive Orb completely over the edge with his tricks and gimmicks. Dimentio was originally the one to remove the stitches from Engel's lips, and despite Engel's weakened pleads to pay no attention to her "useless Experiment self," Dimentio gladly stuck by Engel's side and created a firm bond with her. Dimentio protected Engel from her insane aunt as best he could, but when the time came, Dimentio had to leave the Tower. Engel was heartbroken, but Dimentio promised to stay in touch for whenever Engel would need him. Dimentio this day is scarcely seen, however Engel will never forget or underestimate the things which her dearest friend has done for her.

"Hasn't anyone told you not to play with pointy objects?" "Firaxis Dimentio is at your service, my dear Engel!"

Zephinerahk:

Zephinerahk was a Chaos Elemental accidentally summoned by a mage that happened to mispronounce the name of his intended summon. He was both Adaptive and Infective in nature--he either changed to suit the world, or he forced the world to change for him. Zephinerahk has walked on the Earth for a couple of years now, continuing to try and understand human nature and adapt. He met Engel when Cyclos sent Toxin after Engel. Zeph made his entrance by fighting the beast off and saving the poor girl from being Toxin's punching bag. Zephinerahk was unstable at that time, however over the next few months he began to change to suit Engel better. He was mystified by her, both by how feeble she was and how beautiful the color of her eyes were. He grew very close to Engel, protecting her from Cyclos and awkwardly offering Engel his affection during his confused crush. After countless events with Engel, the two have fallen in love and married before coming to Millennium City. Zephinerahk gave Engel an enhancement with Chaos early on, which gave Engel her own Chaos Elemental form, and on their honeymoon he enhanced her a second time hand-to-stomach to give her a daughter.

"...Did scare you? Zeph sorry. Not want to scare. Wanted to stop spider from hurting." "I have a daughter and a wife to take care of now...I think I'm going to take a long nap."

Death Excell:

Darren Alakia first made his entrance with Engel after Cyclos put her into an accidental coma. He and his eight custom-made robots revived Engel from her coma, and Darren stitched up her wounds as best he could. Death Excell is a Mercenary for the Tower, and a very respected one at that. He also has entrance into the Laboratory as a Scientist due to his array of Bots, and on the side will be called in as a Weapons Specialist. Darren not only has an extremely advanced mind, but he also is known for his good looks and his way of acting as a well-mannered gentleman. Cyclos among a few other women fell in love with this charm Darren seemed to be ignorant to, but in the end Darren was the most fond of Mitzi and took a special liking to her. He had a custom medication made for Cyclos' schizophrenia. The experiments on Engel began to stop, and the fog in Mitzi's head became much clearer. This was the time that Death Excell made his move, and after he and Mitzi became inseparable, he married her and gave her a daughter, as well as marked his place in the family line.

"Darren Alakia, furthermore aliased as the Mercenary Death Excell. I apologize on behalf of the robots who were so eager to become acquainted with you at the moment you were conscious. Nonetheless, it is a pleasure to speak with you at last."

Orb Weaver Cyclos:

Mitzi dwells on the line of neutrality with Engel. She's both cruel and loving towards her, and at the very most, she has stopped experimenting on her to become the "Perfect Assassin." Engel has loved her since she learned how to walk, but Mitzi's schizophrenia fogged her affection until a few years ago. Engel can still be tentative around her aunt, and while Mitzi is trying to patch up her relationship with her niece, Engel can still be very distrusting or afraid of her. After the immense damage caused when Cyclos betrayed her, Engel is still determined to love her aunt, even when she had been tortured and abused. Engel's PTSD from the experiments has been doing better than in the past, however she still will enter episodes and act outright if something manages to shake her. Mitzi has been supportive of Engel during these times, and when Engel asks, she will undo any augmentations from the experiments to the best of her ability.

"Hallooo, Engel~." "If you touch my cheesecake, I vill smack your leetle face. Go get your own; you are as small as your mutter was."

Maestro Punkt:

A social butterfly with a taste for music and deep care for her loved ones, the alien cricket Maestro is constantly there to help Engel if she is ever in need. Always emotionally supportive and relatable, Kricket has been there to help Engel during the times of the True attacks. Maestro is currently helping Engel learn how to be a professional cook and has given her a diet which seems to have cured her anorexia completely.

"Oh my gosh you're freaking adorable. Can I hug you?" "Whoever told you that you aren't pretty wasn't looking close enough."

Foes

True Zephinerahk:

True Zephinerahk--or by arcane terms, Agraanahk--was more or less Zephinerahk's dark Infective side. Originally driven by pain or passion, he would combine these two and corrupt the living before eating them alive. Since Zephinerahk and Agraanahk had never been on equal terms, both were always fighting for control, and while Zeph won most days, True managed to find a way out and completely separated himself from Zephinerahk. Wanting revenge for always being kept on a leash, he took what Zeph cared the most about--Engel--and violently assaulted her, both physically and mentally. While his attempt to rape and eat her failed, Engel was scarred for quite some time by the monster, but kept full trust in Zephinerahk after he tried over and over again to save her. True Zephinerahk was thankfully destroyed before Engel came to Millennium City.

"Engeeel...it'sss...ssso nice to seeee you again. Let's have a little fun...shall we?"

True Engenahk:

Agraanahk had been defeated the first time by the Tower's leader, Lady Angelfish. However, this did not completely erase him. After he manifested again in Zephinerahk, Zeph began to worry for Engel's safety. He wanted to progress his relationship with her, but not hurt her in the process. Confused and determined to one day become one with her, he tried to find a way where he could accomplish this goal, testing it out on a disposable woman. Zephinerahk had no idea that this would tear Engel's fragile heart apart, and he was still learning human nature. Engel's Chaos form Engenahk became out of control, and she killed the prostitute with burning Infective Chaos. After grieving over the next two weeks and gradually losing control of her Engenahk form, Engel began to think back on the only time she had received affection similar to but the opposite of what Zeph wanted to give--the time when True attacked her. Engraanahk--or True Engenahk--manifested within Engel after Engel began to go insane, and creating her own darkside, a series of upsetting events followed in her wake. True Engenahk was thankfully destroyed before Engel came to Millennium City.

"Infection creates perfection, riiiight~?" "I've perfected myself for you, Zephie. Isssn't zhat good enough? Why won't you let me in...?"

Doktor Steiner Richtofen:

The "Gut Doktor Steiner" was a German metahuman who became separated from the Tower during the move to Millennium City. Steiner was a mad Scientist for the Tower who could create various chemicals, drugs, and medicines with his own blood. Because of these drugs, he had a gang of addict lackeys under him who worked almost mindlessly for the drugs, and because of this he built his reputation. He worked with Cyclos for a time before Death Excell had shown his face, and he was the one to help implant Engel's makeshift flamethrowers. Whether or not Steiner had a thing for Engel's aunt is uncertain, but Engel recalls how he saw them as fit partners. Steiner was cruel towards Engel, as he treated her like an animal, and at one point he attempted to make Zephinerahk his own Experiment. However, this was not only illigal in the Tower, but Zephinerahk simply laughed in Steiner's face, and in the end Steiner faded into the past as Death Excell came forward.

"Ze mädchen might cooperate if she had more fear in her eyes." "You will either obey me, or you vill suffer my wrath, Engel!"

Chaos Forms

Engenahk minilogo.png

CHAOTIC TYPE: Neutral

Control strength: 84%

Prefered Element(s): All basics

Favorite abilities: Superspeed, enabled sixth sense

Engenahk is considered to be the Neutral or "in-between" form for Engel. She appears with purple features and a tail which copied Zephinerahk when he first gave her the Chaos enhancement. Engel enters Neutral Engenahk with practiced ease, and she is able to control her--for the most part. Engenahk is quite childish in personality, and has a bright sense for the world around her. She can sense people at long distances, bond easily with wild creatures, adapt mildly to her surroundings, and increase her physical strength by a set amount. She recently has been experimenting with her Chaos and has managed to copycat a few of the things Zephinerahk is able to do.

Iron Engenahk minilogo.png

CHAOTIC TYPE: Adaptive

Control strength: 97%

Prefered Element(s): Earth

Favorite abilities: Energy Cannon, forming thick armor

Iron Engenahk is the form closest to Pure on the Chaos spectrum for Engel. She uses a controlled adaptive Chaos to form thick armor plating over her body. It's alot like controlling a large robotic suit for Engel, and while it took a while to master at first, she has figured out how to use it properly. The Iron Engenahk form strongly resembles the Iron Zephinerahk form, as Iron Engenahk was a "copycat" that Engenahk figured out. Iron Engenahk stands at about 15'00" and is very laid back in personality, however it becomes very protective in combat. A few mild details to Iron have been created after exposure to Death Excell and his Bots. Iron is very controlled and repels Infective Chaos almost as easily as Pure Engenahk.

True Engenahk minilogo.png

CHAOTIC TYPE: Infective

Control strength: 12%

Prefered Element(s): Fire

Favorite abilities: Shapeshifting, Corruption

True Engenahk--or Engraanahk, by arcane terms--was Engel's most dangerous and uncontrollable form. Being Engel's more or less darkside, Engraanahk was created after Engel drove Engenahk insane with shapeshifting her body and adapting more to True Zephinerahk's liking. True Engenahk took control over the Engenahk forms for a time, long enough for her to come across Zephinerahk and attempt to seduce him in fear he had lost his love for her. However, her Infective Chaos only brought out the worst in Zeph, and True Zephinerahk found himself a new toy. After the two monsters' attempt at a corruptive love affair, the honorary "Set Creature" and family friend Alexis removed all of Engenahk's Infective Chaos and made her primarily Pure before doing the same to Zephinerahk and Agraanahk. Immediately after a heated battle, True Engenahk and Agraanahk was permanently destroyed. Despite True Engenahk being so wicked and erotic in nature, she was infamously known to be one of the most heart-wrenching times for Engel, as the never-ending tears she appeared with matched equally to her's and Engel's equal sorrow and loneliness.
