==Years with Sanction==

*[[Facade (Sierra 5)]]
Facade's earliest recollections are being in Sanction, so he was either born or raised by them from a very early age. He never knew who his parents were, whether they were operatives or someone from the outside. The only name he had was a designation: Sierra 5.

*[[Facade (Arunee Prem))]]

From an early age the children from group Sierra were trained as intelligence operatives, training which was disguised as inoculous games and schoolwork. The environment was harsh, designed to create ruthless, emotionless agents. The children were given pets to raise for several months, only to be forced to kill the pets to learn to become emotionally detached. Rebellious actions resulted in swift, brutal punishment. Many of the children did not reach adulthood.

Sierra 5 was an especially bright child, who took to the training quickly, but while he was able to compartmentalize his emotions he still had them, and planned to one day escape from his overseers.

==Years of Real-World Experience==

After age 15, the survivors were sent out on supervised assignments, to learn various esoteric skills they might find useful in their future as operatives. Sierra 5 spent time with a circus, learning acrobatics and trapeze work, followed by some time as a stage magician's apprentice. He installed burglar alarms, worked as a network administrator, even spent some time as a bounty hunter's assistant. The job he enjoyed the most was working for a special effects company, where he learned mask making, life casting and animatronics.

+
While he was training in each of these jobs, he worked under a false identity, practicing his skills for deception and gathering intelligence.

==Current Time==

Sierra 5 was rapidly become a prized asset, highly trained and very intelligent, and was given his first assignment: to infiltrate the life of a dangerous terrorist and terminate him. When Sierra 5 learned that this terrorist was in fact a political dissident with young children, he decided to make his escape from Sanction. He arranged to fake the death of his target and his family, then quietly disappear into the background.

+
Using a plethora of disguises and his training, Sierra 5 has managed to avoid being located by Sanction, but has continued to use his skills as the assassin Facade to earn a living. However this time he chooses the targets, and he controls his own fate.
