Jill Hooper remembers very little about her childhood. She remembered when she first had the 'headaches', when she would do strange things She would unwittingly hurt people or destroy things just by thinking about them. She didn't know what to do. Her parents took her to some strange men, who called themselves 'doctors', even though they weren't like doctors she knew. They had performed strange tests involving medication, and connection to strange devices. The headaches went away, but the power still remained, except that it got 'stronger', and more controllable. This made the 'doctors' more interested in her, so they were able to take her away from her parents for further study. This involved cruel strenuous testing, to please her new guardians. Unexpectedly, she was rescued by a fledgling supergroup called the 'Champions' and was returned to her parents. Inspired by them, she dedicates her life to righting wrongs in the name of justice!
