Due to his relatively long tenure as a superhero, Lightning prefers not to fight, though not at all averse to it. Lightning is a typical Millennium City superhero with abilities that include super-strength, superhuman speed, heightened senses, regeneration, an affinity to electricity and wind, and the ability to soul-transform into a draconic creature. These powers were gained when he was 15; he had to fight and survive to prove himself ready. Lightning first came to Millennium City as a regular teenager to study at Ravenswood Academy and arrived just before the Quarry invasion. He helped as best he could and from that moment aspired to become a hero, but alas, he had no powers. That changed after he was mysteriously teleported to the Qliphoth, where he eventually gained an audience with the Kings of Edom and became an Avatar to the Muse of Lethargy and Despair. His pushing back the King from his mind and body gained him his powers, which helped tremendously in escaping the collapsing dimension with the Champions through the portal. | |
