Many regard Antoinette as a truly optimistic and gentle-spirited young woman. She is stalwart and true to herself that enjoys puns and good and clean humor towards her lack of eyesight. If there is one thing certain about who she is is her constant smile, laughs, and appreciation in things that makes her shine like a beacon in a crowd.
To those who know her casually, she is often the most talkative of the bunch and open to mostly any conversation. She is unashamed of who she is, willing to share anything about herself if asked or if appropriate to the topic, and always remains adamant to listen to her friends should they need it. Her appreciation of music could arguably be said to be higher than the average person, which mostly comprises of upbeat tempos, foreign pop and rock groups, and Nightcore. She is able to apparently dress to impress as well, claiming her desire to compliment the apparent beauty she is told she has. She is admittedly naive in some aspects however, due to inexperience of sight, her sheltered home life, or her teenage mind. Her views can be perceived as simplistic.
A few deeper insights will reveal her few insecurities and attempts to compensate for them. She is passionate about not being treated special, because she feels that she can operate like anyone else in society. This developed due to her sheltered home life and parents tendency to keep her close to their chest. She is persistent to develop and learn as well, showing a 5.0 Grade Point Average in academics and her want to experience new things. She's willing to take the weight of others on her shoulders (like a Martyr) in all aspects of the word to the best of her ability. This is properly displayed in her undeterred courage and care when on the field of action with her friends and team.
Antoinette was born on June 29th, 1996 in Paris, France. Her father worked at MedTech Industries, a company dedicated to medical science advances that specialized in automated systems and robotics. Her mother had been staying there for a few years but was from Constanta, Romania. Doctors discovered that the newborn child was born legally blind and despite best efforts there was no reversal. After a year of staying in Paris, the family returned to the mother's home city of Constanta. There they began to care for their daughter and raised her best they could. Around the time she was getting capable of independent movement by walking, she was exhibiting the ability to register where an individual near her was exactly. This, of course, caused suspicions to be raised though no conclusion was made. It was not until until her fifth year in school that things became obvious that she was not completely blind.
She was taught to cherish education and be passionate about her interests, and she took these to heart. She began to fall in love with music exponentially so both in Romanian and French languages. When she decided that she did not want to be treated as a special needs child she requested to go to regular classes. She still used the blinds way of learning in education, but she was mostly an auditory learner and she was tested independently with a oral exam. Her personality and gentle nature made her slowly become quite popular all the way through Ovidius High school, one of the most prestigious in her city. Just as she entered the tenth grade, she went with her father to Paris to receive surgery and returned with technology in head that was relayed to her walking stick. She would be able to see through echolocation.
However, her time in Constanta was drawing to a close. She became interested in the English language. She had her parents look around for a school suited to her needs and in a safe and secure city. Her interest in the 'City of the Future' however cemented the result of the search being The Bracen Institute. It must have been fate too however, because two weeks before her date to fly across the Pacific, she had an emergence of abilities which saved her father from critical injury. She left that very night without telling her parents due to circumstance and has lived in Millennium City since.
