Origin Story

Gamma
Gamma was found by [Insert Organization Here] after her ship crash landed on Earth. Her ship was destroyed beyond repair and her left leg severed in the crash. Believing her to be dead [Insert Oganization Here] prepared to preform an autopsy on her. She awoke on the operating table as one of the scientists attempted to cut her open. Scared and confused she struck the scientist with an irradiated pulse liquefying him instantly.
She was later found by [Insert Name Here] after she escaped from [Insert Organization Here]. [He?] taught her about earth and its languages as well as provided her with a cybernetic leg to replace the one she lost. The suit of armor she wears contains her radiation maintaining it at a non-lethal level. Her and [Insert Name Here] found it strange that she shares her name with the type of radiation her body produces. On her homeworld 'Gamma' is simply a common name.
Her grasp on human language is very poor. Though she speaks just fine she doesn't understand the language. She may seem a bit ignorant and childish at times as a result.
Due to nitrogen being toxic to her species she is unable to breath in Earth's atmosphere and by connection incapable of consuming foods on the planet. Through a chance encounter a special nitrogen free chamber was created for her in a moon base so that she can have a place to breath freely while she remains here.
Gamma has chosen to aid in protecting Millennium City during her stay. Though, she is constantly seeking a way to return home and see her beloved Mere again.

"He'o, is t'is t'ing on? Oh, it's a'ready 'cording. Uh, Hi... I'm Mere Rael. I came here loo'ing for my wife, Gamma. Li'e her I was t'rown t'rough a worm'ole after 'eaving our home of Irid. I was on a mission to find and recover her. I was cer'ain she wasn't dead, she coul'n't be dead. I spent a mont' lost in that worm'ole before I was spit out here. It was a shock to find my dear Gamma had aged two years in that time. T'ough I can be no happier t'an to just be reunited wit' her again. "She's been teaching me the tongue of t'is world, I've been told t'at I speak funny t'ough. I don't understand how you human's can make some of t'ese sounds, much less how she's managed to mimic t'em. *she tries her hardest to sound out a 'th' to no avail* I just can't do it. "We've bot' made a modest life here doing 'He-ro-ic-s'. *she stumbles over her tongue a bit as she sounds out the word* And we t'ink our home is somewhere in t'e core of t'e ga'axy. Not sure how we're going to get back t'ere t'ough. Or what to expect when, if, we make it back. For a' we know we coul' have been in t'at worm'ole for over a hun'red years. Biologic Radiation
Gamma and Mere's race produce high levels of radiation as a biologic byproduct. The technology of their world is powered by this radiation. With practice they can control the radiation and expel it in bursts, Some even possess a high level of control over the amount of radiation released in each burst. This biologic process has the side benefit of making them completely immune to most forms of radiation.
