Natalia had always had a connection to the fantastical and wonderous, as a child she claimed to see faeries in woodland home deep in Michigan, she would often play in the surrounding woods just to catch a glimpse of them, much to her parents concern. Her mother always being the supportive type did her best to raise her well and her father taught her how to defend herself(even if he did have an overprotective streak), it'd seem they did all they could to raise they're rambunctious little girl but as she got older there came new challenges and obstacles to overcome such as the fact she was born with a benign mutation in the form of a triple iris, besides that all was well.. that was till her first year of Highschool at Ravenwood where she met a boy that caught her attention, she took her time to talk to him and soon after started a budding romance, at first he seemed polite and charming but as time went on his true colors showed through, in truth he was abusive and forceful young man. In her innocence she tried her best to stay content and happy, she even started to come to cherish some of his worse aspects, it was only after an intervention by her close friends did she see the cracks for herself but.. she could not part herself from him. It was in what seemed like one of his better moments did he do his worst, it was in his room and after a fair amount of alcohol that he did the act.

But all good things must come to an end for she decided tonight would be a good night to walk home after Jeremiah had drank himself asleep, she wondered off and out the door piss drunk and half dressed, and here is where the incident occurred as she crossed the street a driver came hurdling through and sent her flying for the pavement, almost immediately the driver walked up to the house and informed the occupants of what happened it seemed like hours before she showed a single sign of life, one of her friends checked her vitals with a sigh of relief while another called 911, the ambulance arrived shortly after and took her unconscious body away to be treated by paramedics.

Once they were two, one being Vargr, the bastard of the Norse wolf Hati Hróðvitnisson and the other Sage, the child of the Celtic goddess Arianrhod in the form of a black owl. For centuries that would be they're fate but Vargr was a beast of a feral wanderlust, never staying in once place for long and Sage just happened to share such an aptitude one day as they had bumped into each other one day, for Sage had decided to perch on a tree that belonged to the Nordic lands of Faerie and Vargr was in the area, at first the wolf wanted nothing but to devour the seemingly lost bird so he barked a question to Sage, "Speak your name, Bird!", the bird retorted in kind as she peered to gawk at the beast with her two large eyes, "What use are names, Wolf?", Vargr seemed stunned a moment before answering, "Names..", he snarled in frustration, "I want to know the name of my prey before I wrap my teeth around it's throat", Sage's wide eyes almost seemed to size up the beast before her as she hopped along the branch then gave a jesting chuckle, the beast circled the tree and asked once more as they snarled in turn, "What is so funny?", after Sage had regained composure some they responded with, "You wish to make me your meal but have not tools to do so", Vargr barked as he wrestled his body against the tree as it creaked under his impressive girth, stripping bark as he said, "Given enough time I can bring this tree down then what will you, Bird?", the ever teasing Sage giggled at the beast's attempts once more, "I'll simply take to the sky where you can not reach me, Wolf", the bird seemed to have a clever idea which she pondered briefly, "How about a game, Wolf", Vargr bounced off the tree as payed Sage some heed, "Game? what kind of game?", the bird took the form of a robed young woman in black and dangled her feet over the branch before answering in kind, "If you can catch me before I return to Tír na nÓg, you can have your prize but.. ", the beast looked to Sage in a manner that suggested curiosity but still held a primal hunger as he snarled at the clever Sage, "Trick me not for I.. am RAVENOUS!", a feint grin came over Sage as she stood on the branch as if she was as light as air, "If reach I Tír na nÓg, you shall be my dearest friend", Vargr was stunned, quite unsure what to make of such a challenge but he took it in stride and replied as he grinned wide as can be, "Fly bird and fly FAST", Sage reassumed her owl form as she escaped the tree in haste as Vargr gave chase, more then a few times did the beast almost succeed in his hunt, they traveled through forests, through mountain ranges, and even the darkest depths of Svartalfheim but unfortunately for Vargr they did indeed make it to Tír na nÓg.

From that day forth Vargr made good on his end, as did Sage. They were inseparable, Vargr even got the chance to meet Arianrhod herself but as with all things in Faerie fate was against them as Vargr would have eventually return to Nordic lands but not did either wish to accept such a thing, they asked Sage's mother Arianrhod for assistance in they're time of need she had a solution for they're plight, if she was to make them one they neither land could claim them. They used Vargr's remaining days in Tír na nÓg to search for what was needed and on the last day did they return to Arianrhod on that night they're goddess had commanded the skies to usher in a eclipse for the occasion, as the ritual proceeded the goddess spoke them in a motherly tone, turning to both as she spoke to them, "For you Sage, I will gaze to the Earth below for your grace and splendor", she smiled something wicked as she addressed Vargr, "For you my hunter, I shall turn my gaze away to shower your prey in darkness", she turned to both as Sage perched atop Vargr's head, "Do you accept these terms my children?", for once they answered as one, "-We- do", the very Earth in place beneath they're feet seemed to groan in response and the air around them seemed to try to stop such a thing as both fused into a single being with aspects of both but with skin of ebony wood for that night only, they skipped happily with their new form, quite fond of their new self, they soon asked their mother, "And with what shall I be known, Dearest Mother?", she proclaimed with pride in her work, "You shall be named Skalloche, my child, for now and forever more", Skalloche chuckled with glee as both were one but soon came the price as once the eclipse ended Skalloche was no more, it was only Vargr.. or so they thought as Sage sprung forth from Vargr's shadow, wearing the face of an owl's skull and made of the stuff of shadows and perching their self on Vargr's new but majestic antlers, from that day forth they would never be truly alone.

Natalia's Origins

She was never the same after that, she broke up with him a few days later, something had snapped in this once sweet little girl, she seemed withdrawn and quick to anger, in some ways her father's teachings finally seemed to make sense. Skalloche's Origins

The Coma and Her Awakening?

OOC Information...

The character of Sage & Vargr is based heavily on Kindred from League of Legends and Skalloche.. I am entirely sure yet. Nat herself is loosely based on Cole from Dragon Age: Inquisition, at least in the base concept but I do however blame a lot of reading of Whitewolf's Changeling: The Lost series in helping with building my system for her flavor of Faerie Magic, as well as various little details.
