| − | Dyonis had a very troubled or dysfunctional life, that led to him being very depressed before he had his powers.It all started pretty much on the day he was born. According to his mother when he was coming out of her, his umbilical cord was strangulating him, and he basically almost died. However; much to his chagrin nowadays he survived. In his opinion he took that as a sign that he should have never been born, but he was. His childhood was fairly normal. He was an outspoken child who wasn't afraid to say what was on his mind. He had a weird personality too most people, that continued throughout his whole childhood. Because of that however it was always somewhat difficult for him to relate to people. He could make some friends sometimes, but none were ever close. Not only that, but his weird personality, and appearance made him a subject of ridicule for most people. Basically his school life was not a happy one. Especially since this trend of weirdness/rejection continued throughout his whole school life, and he changed schools often thanks to his dysfunctional family life. All in all he was not a happy camper, and basically hated his life. The only time in his opinion things got better for him was when he met a "older" gentleman who happened to actually care about Kevin more so than Kevin's family did. After graduating high school and not being able to handle his home life anymore; he moved in with him and hoped that things would change for the better. Unfortunately Kevin eventually realized his weird personality or just everything about him just wasn't suited for life. He knew he had to do something soon or he would just end up on the streets or dead. He was always into the paranormal or superpowers to be specific. He's always wanted powers more than anything in the whole world. However he never knew exactly how to get them. He always tried meditating, wishing, praying, anything but no such luck. However in his adult life he decided to do whatever he had to do to get powers no matter what.He had a talent called Astral Projection that actually manifested around puberty. At first he ignored it somewhat, because he thought it was just a hallucination; especially since millions of other people claim to have the same talent as well. However in his early adult life he decided he didn't care anymore and would develop superpowers no matter what. He did this through constant meditation, affirmations, and actually practicing his natural psychic talents. He's done this method in the past, but he always gave up; however that wasn't going to happen this time. He did it everyday he had time too. It was hard to do since he still had to worry about things like college, not seeming too "anti-social" to his roommates,chores, etc. All this hard work did take it's toll on him though. He was afraid of the things stress might do to him in the beginning, but he eventually did not care anymore. Because of this and because he ignored his natural tendency to be lazy, his body went into stress overdrive. His hair probably would have fell out if it wasn't short already, he was constantly suppressing his irritability and urges to do things more fun. In other words he was physically and mentally being destroyed, but the pain from it all was in his opinion was worth it. After a few months- to years of training, he finally had complete control over his psychic abilities. He then used his newfound powers to connect to mystical energies, or basically learn how to use real magic. That also took a long while of training; However he had natural magical potential as well and in turn became a very powerful sorcerer.He now mostly uses his powers for more hedonistic pleasures. However apart of him feels someones watching him, and eventually he will play a part in a upcoming battle or war. He also feels for some reason he would be on the "evil" side.

This culminated when he was approached by a representative of the secret villain group known as psi. He offered to help him manifest more "active" or flamboyant powers if he joined the group. He agreed to the offer and after taking the psi serum; he finally manifested the full blown super powers he always dreamed of having. With his new powers and some armor for protection and mobility; he became a secret agent for psi known to heroes as Ombrare, but usually works alone without the group's help. |
