| − | Ombrare or Kevin Simpson, had a very troubled or dysfunctional life, that led to him being very depressed before he had his powers.It all started pretty much on the day he was born. According to his mother when he was coming out of her, his umbilical cord was strangulating him, and he basically almost died. However; much to his chagrin nowadays he survived. In his opinion he took that as a sign that he should have never been born, but he was. His childhood was fairly normal. He was an outspoken child who wasn't afraid to say what was on his mind. He had a weird personality too most people, that continued throughout his whole childhood. Because of that however it was always somewhat difficult for him to relate to people. He could make some friends sometimes, but none were ever close. Not only that, but his weird personality, and appearance made him a subject of ridicule for most people. Basically his school life was not a happy one. Especially since this trend of weirdness/rejection continued throughout his whole school life, and he changed schools often thanks to his dysfunctional family life. All in all he was not a happy camper, and basically hated his life. The only time in his opinion things got better for him was when he met a "older" gentleman who happened to actually care about Kevin more so than Kevin's family did. After graduating high school and not being able to handle his home life anymore; he moved in with him and hoped that things would change for the better. Unfortunately Kevin eventually realized his weird personality or just everything about him just wasn't suited for life. He knew he had to do something soon or he would just end up on the streets or dead. He was always into the paranormal or superpowers to be specific. He's always wanted powers more than anything in the whole world. However he never knew exactly how to get them. He always tried meditating, wishing, praying, anything but no such luck. However in his adult life he decided to do whatever he had to do to get powers no matter what.He had various psychic talents such as Astral Projection and subconscious dream walking that actually manifested around puberty. At first he ignored it somewhat, because he thought it was just a hallucination and just randomness; especially since millions of other people claim to have the same talents as well. However in his early adult life he decided he didn't care anymore and would develop superpowers no matter what. He did this through constant affirmations, since he was kinda lazy. He's done this method in the past, but he always gave up; however that wasn't going to happen this time. He did it everyday he had time too. After a few months to years of constant subliminal bombardment, he finally had complete control over his psychic abilities. He used his abilities to give himself a much needed "edge" in life. This culminated when he was approached by a representative of the secret villain group known as psi. He offered to help him manifest more "active" or flamboyant powers if he joined the group. He agreed to the offer and after taking the psi serum; he finally manifested the full blown super powers he always dreamed of having. With his new powers and some power enhancing armor for protection and mobility; he became a secret agent for psi known to heroes as Ombrare, but usually works alone without the group's help.

| − | Ombrare possess the power of telepathy which he can use in variety of ways. He can astral project, enter and control other people's dreams (including his own), mentally or spiritually possess others, and mind link with people especially if he's "close" to them. For more offensive uses, he can mentally link to people's subconscious and bring out their worst fears as very vivid hallucinations, link his mind to someone and channel feelings like pain for example from himself or others he's linked to on to his target; erect dark psi barriers/armor and fire dark/deadly psionic bolts.. His telepathic abilities tend to have a darkness theme to them, which is why he calls himself ombrare which means to shade the senses. He also wears an armored costume that not only protects him, but increases his natural physical abilities and psionic abilities thanks to the implants that are a part of it.
