Origins

During the end of the industrial age of America, there were a great many people who were beset upon by greedy law makers and business tycoons who had the world for the very taking. American authorities were hard pressed to reconcile and revitalize a nation torn asunder by civil war, and could not spare the manpower or resources to quell these injustices. Most people learned to live by these mens 'rules' or suffer the consequences. Most people.

During these early years, a few hardened individuals took the justice upon themselves and the law into their own hands, when they saw that justice could never be had by other means. The birth of a legacy emerged from the ashes of a reeling nation. The Pistolier first emerged as a vigilante in the late Autumn of 1887, when caravanners and frontiers folk were losing their land and their lives to greedy businessmen and corrupt governmental employees. The rush to collect oil and other resources was a prominent goal for many ambitious businessmen, and they were willing to do a great many evil things in the name of Capitolism.
