Background:

Matthew Danvers was only the age of 14 when he realized his powers. One day in California High School, Matthew was in gym class, trying to get his extra credit. The school bully, Jack, attempted to hurt Matt while he was hitting the punching bag. Matt dodged the blow from Jack, and retaliated with a punch of his own which knocked Jack back onto the wall. Puzzled by what happened, Matt ran out of the gym, into the school's yard and began to run home. While running, Matt saw that he could actually run at the speed of light and fly as fast as a comet. As Matt arrived home, he began to question his parents about what was going on with him. They told him that he is a mutant with special abilities which he should use for the greater good. And the greater good is just what he used them for.

Currently:

Matt now lives in Millennium City, the city with protectors known as the Champions. He has came up with an alias of Power Kid, a young hero who goes to Ravenswood Academy. With the help of the friends Matt makes along the way, he will soon become the best hero he can be. He has joined the Young-Champions, a team of young adults that assist the Champions to protect Millennium City.

Equipment:

Power Suit: A suit that was designed by Matt's father, for the purpose of enhancing Matt's powers. The suit is also machine-washable, and can provide a breathing apparatus that will allow Matt to breathe in space or underwater.
Communicator: Allows Matt to speak to anyone or hear any activity in the city. It also grants access to the Young-Champions' private communication network.

Powers/Abilities:

Superhuman Strength: Matt can lift up to more than 50 times his own weight, and still lift some more
Flight: Supersonic flight, a very useful asset to Matt in battles and just getting around the city
Energy Generation: Able to manipulate the energy he generates into his fists and feet, allowing him to "boost" his abilities

Allies:

The Champions: The protectors of Millennium City. It consists of Defender, Witchcraft, Ironclad, Kinetik and Sapphire.
The Young-Champions: The team that he was recently recruited into for his skills.
DJ Surge: A DJ that he met and talks to as frequent as he can.

Enemies:

Armored Fist: A test subject for Project Fist, the science experiment that turned him into a mad, evil cyborg. He attempted to steal a Lemurian artifact from the Museum of Natural History, but Power Kid stopped him. Armored Fist did escape but Power Kid managed to place a tracking device on his left arm.
