Origins

Born into a cult based out of South America, Roak was raised to serve as a soldier loyal only to the master. There were many like him, some being orphans, or willingly given over to the master by their parents. Each child was kept sheltered from the world for the most part, only taught basic academics, and any materials that might prove fruitful for their future duties. Aside from this limited spectrum of knowledge, their dedication and loyalty was constantly reinforced during their upbringing.

After a certain age, and deemed physically able, the children began their combative exercises, and participated in a rigorous and unforgiving training regimen. Those who would prove unable to keep up with this training would eventually be dismissed, rejoining the community to serve in other ways. As a result, numbers dwindled, and very soon there were no more than thirteen elites receiving this tutelage. Roak would nearly be dismissed a number of times, but in the end would manage to complete his training, and prove his capability to his master on many occasions.

The Cult

Roak rarely speaks of the group he was born into (or much in general) and thusly it should come as no surprise that many of it's secrets did not break out into the public eye for a very long time. What is known is that the leader 'Michael Fasil' was on the FBI's most wanted list since the late 80's, as well as being looked into by UNTIL more recently. He was rumored to have connections to the CIA, and a common popular theory was that he worked as an assassin, and that during an assignment to kill a foreign leader, instead fled, and was supposedly sheltered by the very man he was tasked with killing. It was stories like these that eventually came to draw in many people to the communes he'd set up, looking for what he himself claimed to have found; 'a better way'.

Set up in a very Jonestown fashion, the followers of this new doctrine resided in a close knit community, hidden away on an island off the coast of Chile. It is believed that the new right-wing dictatorship of the country is what shielded Fasil for so long, having a vested interest in protecting the former spook. And with such a level of protection it was not long before the island was coated with irreputable types. Associates, and new allegiances of Michael Fasil. All very important key players for his long term goals. Many of these individuals are responsible for providing the weapons, training, and information to the group's young soldiers.
