Biography
Robert Andros is a genius as a result of an accident his mother suffered while she was carrying him her womb. The accident changed the genetic structure of both her and her unborn child, but culminated in her death during childbirth. The child, Robert, developed neural tissue normally found only in the brain all throughout his body, causing his entire body to act as one massive brain. This gave him tremendous mental stimulation of neural cells in his skin; so much so, that even air making contact with his flesh caused extreme pain. His father, Anthony Andors a master inventor and owner and CEO of Andros Industries (a billion dollar tech company), used a newly invented liquid, biological [i]armor[/i] to ease Robert's agony; a buffer allowing him to interact with the world normally, but one he would have to wear for the rest of his life. Despite the pain, Robert is endowed with regenerative capabilities due to the same mutation.
Anthony Andors was murdered through mysterious means when Robert was ten. After the murder of his father, Robert was enrolled at the Evolution Academy, a school for gifted children. Using this time to further his knowledge in biotechnology, Robert developed the Sentinel v.1 armor in hopes of identifying his father's murderer. Instead he found himself thrust into the headlines when he stopped a terrorist attack in Millennium City. Inheriting his father's company, now called Andros International, Robert continued to refine his armor (now v.5) and defend the city while also working to discover his father's murderer.
Recently, Robert has been out of the country pursuing a lead on his father's murderer while also extending the organization's presence in Japan.
Powers
Sentinel possesses powered armor that gives him superhuman strength and durability, flight, and an array of weapons.
The weapons systems of the suit have changed with newer versions, but Sentinel's standard offensive weapons have always been the repulsor rays that are fired from the palms of his gauntlets. Other weapons built into various incarnations of the armor include: the omni-beam projector in its chest; pulse missiles (that pick up kinetic energy along the way; so the farther they travel, the harder they hit); a micro machine gun; and a defensive energy shield that can be extended up to 360 degrees.

Robert Andros is an inventive genius whose expertise in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science rivals that of leading minds in the world today, and his expertise in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering surpasses all others. He is regarded as one of the most intelligent characters on the planet. He graduated with advanced degrees in physics and engineering at the age of 17 from the Evolution Academy and further developed his knowledge ranging from artificial intelligence to quantum mechanics as time progressed. His expertise extends to his ingenuity in dealing with difficult situations, such as difficult foes and deathtraps, in which he is capable of using available tools, including his suit, in unorthodox but effective ways. He is well respected in the business world, able to command people's attention when he speaks on economic matters, having over the years built up a multi-billion dollar international company. He is noted for the loyalty he commands from and returns to those who work for him, as well as for his business ethics.
He strives to be environmentally responsible in his businesses.
