Mental Stability

Cold. Calculating. Silent. Serpentis seems otherwise unafflicted by his unique upbringing. Rarely speaking, some would suppose him mute until he surprises them with a single word. Advise caution around members of VIPER, as he has been known to have highly dangerous bouts of violence around them that are almost bestial in nature.

Description

Born in a test-tube and raised by two of VIPER's best scientists, Serpentis was originally destined to become VIPER's de-facto leader in the event that the Supreme Serpent went missing or was killed. However, VIPER's scientists noticed a flaw in Serpentis' regeneration abilities, derived from a missing gene in the Supreme Serpent's mutated DNA Helix, which grew worse over time, causing his body to quickly degrade at the cellular level. By the age of 14, Serpentis was a frail, sickly boy, who was barely able to lift his head. Out of pity for the poor child, one of VIPER's head scientists brought the boy to Defender, who agreed to have Dr. Silverback come up with a cure for the child's affliction. The Scientist was killed shortly after returning to Project: Awakening by none other than the Supreme Serpent himself, for taking his bio-engineered "son" to the Champions.
