Technologic is somewhat/completely a flake and has had problems sticking to one thing in his life.

Background

z0mg korea

Jimmy Pak spent the first five years of his life in Incheon, one of two major cities in the Seoul metropolitan area. At the time, his father ran a business repairing complex machinery and handling computer technology issues for several large businesses, including ARGENT offices in the area. However, the family relocated to the US on Harmon Industries acquiring his business and hiring him on as a robotics engineer.

Jimmy goes to Korea once a year with his family to visit relatives. He has been heard to say that Korea is "really weird" and that all they do in Korea is "movies, games, and food" with "porn for all three". He speaks more Korean than he admits.

DETROIT ROCK CITY!!!111

Jimmy's parents live somewhere near Renaissance Center, in Westside. This is a curious fact, that has been earmarked on Pak Chung Kyung's personnel files at Harmon Industries. The fact of it is, Pak Chung Kyung has numerous outstanding debts that he partitions his income to cover.

The street dancers and ricers of Westside are Jimmy's typical hangout kru. They have been the sum of his social development since puberty, and are also the source of his 'technologic fashion sense'.

the accident :(

For his birthday, the Paks took Jimmy to Snake Gulch on a decently-long road trip. He was initially somewhat unenthusiastic, but discovered he could tap into the pulse and patterns of technological devices while at the park. Unfortunately, the "unfortunate event" that was the robotic revolution of the theme park happened that same day, as a ride catastrophically went awry with the entire Pak family, among others, onboard.

Jimmy was marooned outside of his body, unable to re-enter it, housed inside of a cowboy robot (the "Stinky Pete" model). His life persisted in this way for some months.

hay thx

After meeting several members of the Prodigy, Trixie and Technologic had a conversation in which she offered to check hospitals in the southwest for the Paks. She found them; Pak Chung Kyung and Pak Eun Sun had been unconscious for some time, and then stayed in the area to monitor their comatose son, who had unfortunately lost all four limbs in the accident. Chung Kyung went on to fashion lightweight titanium limbs for his son (after Jimmy flew to the area and returned to his body) and, after moderate physical therapy, the Pak family returned to Millennium City.

Powers and Abilities

Technologic's only superpower is technopathy: the ability to influence machinery. He can control the movement of simple machines, or outright possess any non-AI with a computer core. He's apparently tried possessing an AI before, but found the experience "really weird" and hasn't ever done it since.

His hijacked cowboy-bots are outfitted with several armaments and are apparently very, very strong. He has yet to actively fight crime unless 'riding' one. They also have storage space within the torso, typically used to house a change of clothes aligned on car convertible arms. His current 'bots are highly chromed with decorative lighting and integrated audio systems.

He has learned some competency with machinery and computers from his father, but is clearly not the technical hand his father hoped he would be.

Jimmy was an extremely athletic teen before the loss of his limbs; partially due to his technopathy, even with artifial limbs, he is as capable an acrobat now as he was before, limited in his lifting power only by his fragile human torso.

Weaknesses and Limitations

Technologic is no true telepath; any telepath worth their salt is capable of shunting his mind from any machine he possesses, severing his control over it and returning him to his body - likely vegetating in front of a television.

He is also limited in the loadout of his robotic bodies by what his father is willing to permit him to have.

Affiliations

Technologic hangs out with westside ricers and b-boys, and lately, the kids from The Prodigy.

Friends and Allies

Trixie has helped Technologic to find both his body and his parents. As such, in light of recent psychic interference upon her by PSI, he's somewhat motivated to keep them out of her head.

Riley Nero has hit the streets recently in the company of Trixie and Technologic. She has asked Techno if her outfit seemed asian; his reply was along the lines of "I guess, asians are crazy."

Enemies

Technologic has declared himself the foe of all the gangs of Westside. He has yet to set any higher aims for himself.

Trivia

Jimmy is left-handed.

Jimmy hates anything intended to be eaten with chopsticks. He also hates chopsticks.

His favourite food? The simple, elegant, extremely fatty fried burrito.

More or less how Jimmy feels about parents in general.
