Background and Origin
What happens when a human sorceress and a fallen angel trying to redeem himself get together? Azrael happens. Azrael was born on earth a normal human child, not knowing much about his father and generally living a normal life. His angelic or demonic powers began to manifest as he got older. At first it was particularly scary. He began to hear and feel people's thoughts and emotions. Thinking he was going insane he spoke to his mother of this, she revealed to him that his father's name is Therakiel and that she was a powerful sorceress and was trying to help Therakiel redeem himself but he lost patience with this route and she was replaced by Valerian Scarlet. Being a Nephilim, Azrael transcends beyond human power. His angelic nature allows him to basically override physics and gravity and gives him nearly boundless physical strength,speed and stamina. If he has knowledge of an area he can become nigh omnipresent with teleportation. Azrael also has some precognition abilities and is an extreme empath, being able to almost read minds by feeling the auras of people's emotions.
Skills
Azrael has self taught and some magic ability and delved into his tome of forbidden knowledge. Being angelic gives him a natural affinity towards celestial and primal magic. Azrael has also self taught swordplay, not being a expert in swordplay at all but using his ridiculous strength and speed has overcompensated this.
