Background and Origin
Backstory
Gunner Smith is a very strange case of amnesia. He supposedly woke up one day, stranded in a western like cabin in the desert, with no memory. That day he decided that he must have had a hangover and his memory would come back to him. He waited in the cabin for a week; the entire week in the cabin was unprogressive with no memories being found, but rather a revolver and another "strange gun." Keep in mind there was no food in the cabin and in his own accounts he never felt inclined to eat. Eventually getting bored, he left the cabin and wandered the desert. Not far away from the cabin he found a shattered mirror which revealed to him a flame for a head and western like clothing. Tripping over a rock he fell into the mirror, from the sky into the harbor, where he entered into our world.
The harbor he fell into was Westside Harbor. It has been confirmed, not by any large newspaper companies but rather some independent reporters that someone did appear to have fell into the harbor from a notable height. Upon making his way out of the harbor he asked around about where he was, who could help, and why he was there. Gunner eventually got lead to The Champions where he found his calling was possibly to be a hero, trained for a year then went out.
Origin
Because of the odd nature of his background, not much is known about the true origin of Gunner Smith. However there are some theories put together by some well educated people.
- A confused demihuman who had a dream and believes it's real
- A possible otherworldly being hiding his true backstory and desires
- Cursed human suffering from paranoia
- The product of an alternate dimension
- An insane demihuman
Powers, Skills, and Attributes
Powers
"Passive Fire" - Has a flame for the head that is non-lethal. Can harness this flame to sour through the skies. He posses no other known flame powers.
Skills
Munitions - Has a natural adeptness to guns and artillery of all type. Especially good with the guns he's trained with.
Blunt Force - Gunner has learned the best spot to hit someone with the butt of his revolver. The nose!
Attributes
Dead Eye - Shoots with surprising amounts of accuracy.
Southern Hospitality - Is generally 5 times as nice to people who are nice to him and 10 times as rude as people are rude to him.
No Metabolism - Gunner has no need to eat.
