Saint Trotex - A visitor from the 54th century. He is the spirtual leader of a quasi-religious sect called The Strike that worship and obey a living god they call Ekz. Saint Trotex believes his god was once mortal and can be found on modern day Earth. He wields the two rings Hodd and Netz which allow him to create constructs of pure mind power.

The Death Squad - A group of men originally based in Cambridge England brought together by the event known as "the Day of Darkness". By a strange coincidence, all of them have a skull-like appearance which lead to their collective nom de guerre. Along with Doctor Disaster these men are:

Magnus - Professor Nikolaus Von Magnus. A visiting German professor at Cambridge University. His body was accidentally converted into pure anti-matter. A containment suit was built to allow him mobility in a positive matter Universe. This suit allows limited reactions between positive and negative matter giving him the power to project intense beams of energy.

Baron - Professor Abayankara Dosanj. A visiting professor at Cambridge University. He is descended from a long line of line of psionicists from Patna India and is a powerful psionic himself.

The Harrower - Chuck Anderson was an American astronaut who, along with his co-pilot Richard Linebaugh, were on a deep space mission when their ship was caught in a worm hole and flung across the galaxy. His body was devastated by the journey but he was rescued by a a group of slavers that routinely captured aliens and augmented them to be sold to the Malvan gladiator arena. They had never seen a human before. The result is not pretty. He eventually escaped his alien overlords and joined the Red Guard before finally being able to return to earth where he joined the Death Squad.

The Red Guard - The Red Guard is a group inter-galactic mercenaries comprised of the cast-offs and homeless war machines of a hundred different worlds. The Guard is led by a democratically elected leader-for-life known as the Red King. The Red King is responsible for commanding the Guard in battle and deciding what contracts they accept. Notable individuals from the Red Guard not otherwise mentioned are :

The Anubinite - The last survivor of the planet Anubia. The only active Lukovian cyborg in the known galaxy aside from Lord Xanadu and Lady Tephra. For centuries the Anubinite believed himself unique but when 2 more made their appearance, they became bitter rivals. He is now the current Red King.

Dor - A human being with a galaxy class teleportation ability. He inadvertently teleported himself into deep space. He was found by Lord Xanadu and the Red Guard. Dor decided to stay with the Guard and was trained by Captain Arcane in combat and espionage. Dor converts electricity to power his teleportation, which also produces an euphoric effect on him. Dor's teleportation range and capacity is limited only by the amount of electricity he is able to convert.

The Zephyr - A humanoid alien from the planet Thaar. The Zephyr is a cybernetic air raider who decided he would rather fight for profit rather than for swiftly shifting political ideals. He enjoys ripping people apart with his steely claws.

Colonel Czar - A Ruxton (Humanoid) male from the planet Gammaworlia. Leader of the large Gammaworlian faction that makes up a significant portion of the Red Guard. A mutant with the ability to fire a beam of energy from his remaining eye.

Colonel Asam - A Mentoal (centauroid) male from the planet Gammaworlia. Colonel Asam is a mutant born with wings although he cannot fly with out the aid of anti-grav units.

Major Tarn - A Zhonzorp (reptiloid) male from the planet Gammaworlia. Colonel Tarn is a chameleoid mutant, able to change his scale color and patterns to blend in with his environment.

Captain Raff - A Kzinti (felinoid) male from the planet Gammaworlia. Captain Raff is a pirate and adventurer and commands the starship Carnelian. His allegiance is fickle and he cooperates with Colonel Czar only when it suits him.

The Greek Patrol - When heroes using Greek letters as names began to turn up dead, SOCRATES called the remaining heroes together to track down their killer, Robert Daedalus. Thus the Greek Patrol was born. This team only existed for one day. Aside from Sigma, the surviving members are:

Gamma - The son of a woman assaulted by an irradiate in Burning Sands, Gamma is able to project and absorb intense bursts of radiation.

Xi - A terribly mysterious man from Nova Scotia. Able to cut guns in half with his mind...

Tau - A bumbling sorcerer who managed to accidentally possess the body of a demon. He now uses that great power for good, usually.

Omicron - A stone wizard from Estonia. His passive demeanor hides a dark past.

Epsilon - A mutant who is able to transpose the carbon atoms of his body with molybdenum, making him completely invulnerable. Totally.

Rider Theta - A GP moto circuit rider by day, a nanite infused avenger by night. He has recently joined Strike Team Zulu.
