The particle appeared only briefly but from his readings was impossibly massive for something so small, exhibiting enough shearing forces to pull the collider out of alignment. After some investigation Eric realised he had opened a dimensional rift to a microscopic universe and was actually viewing an entire spiral galaxy in miniature. Always fancying himself to be a bit of an adventurer at heart, Eric fashioned a special belt in order to direct the gravitational forces from this miniature galaxy into our dimension.
