Serenity was born in Savoy, Mississippi and grew up around oddities and fetishes (not the sexual kind) with her mother being a witch. Despite this, she was raised in a healthy and normal upbringing. She was a member of her high-school's cheerleading squad, dated the running-back, and was even nominated her year book's 'Best Personality'. Eventually, word reached the pastor of their local church that a witch dwelled within the community. In his zeal, the pastor murdered Serenity's mother in cold blood over a dinner table by knife, a crime of passion. Coming home to find her mother dead at the kitchen table, Serenity called the police and her entire life changed.

A discovery turned to fear, which caused Serenity to run away from home abandoning her life. Hitch-hiking her way to New Oreleans, Louisiana she eventually got involved with a dangerous trade. For ten long years, she was victim to the excitement and danger of black market smuggling. Now, after getting out of the unsavory business, she has taken to occult investigation and heroic work as the Candy-Goth Magi!
