A popular misconception is that Video has a "tail". This tail is actually a power cord that allows him to plug into wall sockets to recharge. Made of various metals, his chassis is often dirty and dusty, as he can more often than not be found in the desert.

Public knowledge

Created in the lab of Dr. Khia Karasaki in 2004, the A.I. known as Video started out as a prototype police unit. The goal was to create a series of functional A.I. units that could aid against the rising number of crimes in Paragon City. Due to various political issues and funding cut-backs, the project was scrapped publicly. Unbeknown to her employers, and using her own resources, Dr. Karasaki finished the prototype unit in an undisclosed warehouse. Dr. Karasaki was kidnapped shortly after his completion.

Left for months to review human behaviour, the channel was locked on a local Old West broadcast, infusing his programming with a gun-slinger personality that would forever color his adventures. He adopted the uniform of the west and took to the streets once his programming timer was completed. He was, unfortunately, to late to save his own creator.

Having been unsuccessful in rescuing his creator, and her subsequent death as a result, he continued to serve Paragon City until the cities ban on super heroes and vigilantes. He has since moved to Millennium city and has found a new home in Snake Gulch, having found an entire theme park of robots like himself. Someday, he hopes to repair Belle's programming and make her his Binary Babe.
