ORIGIN

Jonathan was born in Hoxton, in London, in the year 1986 to unknown parents. By the time he was three, they were killed, in what was later deemed gang warfare. As such he was made homeless, and before the social services could find him a foster home, he was taken in by a gang, and tought how to live on the streets.

Over the years, he became a valued member of the gang, and fell into the life of thievery, and violence.

This culminated in him spending five years in a Youth Detention centre for assault, and the theft of a car.

Whilst there, he started feeling genuine remorse for his actions, and when he emerged, at fourteen, he had no choice but to return to the gang life. Until he encountered a travelling American police officer.

They met during a gang theft, with John being an observer, to see how the gang operated after his time in the Detention centre. The two of them started talking, and it came to light that John wanted to leave the life. For an unknown reason, the police officer took pity on him, and decided to take him into his care. Travelling back to America, specifically Millennium City, John settled into his new life happily.

At school, it was revealed, that despite his great intelligence, he was a lazy delinquent, who preferred fighting than learning. It was at this point, his foster father sat him down, and taught him several life lessons, whih he still lives by to this day.

Then he met another young boy, and they both had an incident which made them dislike each other. They fought multiple times, with both of them getting into trouble over it.

This was until John's mutant powers surfaced, and their next clash sent the boy to hospital.

Feeling very apologetic, he went to visit the boy in hospital, and they somehow became best friends, despite the obvious setback.

Learning from this, he stopped the 'extra-curricular' activities and focussed on his education. He shone brightly in this department, and he graduated from university at an incredibly young age, with a degree in the three sciences, respectively.

Upon the insistence of his best friend, he became a superhero known as Wanderer, crafting himself an exosuit to protect him, and allow him to traverse the city with ease. After a particularly vicious battle early in his career, he went home, and collapsed, in uniform. This led to his foster father also finding out his secret. To date, these are the only two people who know his secret identity.

Later on in his career, after the surfacing of the villain known as the Huntsman, he earned the ire of the local news station, for allowing a news van to be destroyed because of his recklessness. The loss of the van and the lives of the crew took their toll on him, and he became a recluse, refusing to don the suit for a good year or so.

He returned to superheroic after a villain's rampages nearly claimed the lives of the entire school he worked in.

TRAGEDY

After a year or so, things started to look up! The media stopped hounding him and slandering him, his job was going well he didn't have any psychopaths after him, and he was generally feeling happy.
Then a figure from his past showed up, trying to coax him back into the street life, to which he refused. The figure left, saying that he would get his revenge.
For the next few months, John was on edge and tense about the encounter, but nothing happened. Then suddenly, when he let his guard down, the figure struck, blowing up his foster father's car, and having his siblings captured.
He was then offered the chance to save his family if he came back into the life of crime. But it was a ruse, and when he accepted, his family were killed anyway. This caused John to spring into action, forgetting himself. For the first time ever, he used his powers to take lives, and when he came to, he left to turn himself in.
When he did, and the police arrived at the scene, the warehouses were empty, apart from his siblings' bodies, which were ruled a suicide, and his father was found in his car at the bottom of a canyon, apparently having been drunk driving.
This revelation caused John to retreat inward yet again, this time for two years. When he emerged at twenty one, he was no longer the bright eyed youth he once was. He had taken up a job in the police force, as a detective(Like his foster father) and relocated his base of operations(and best friend, to a cave system under Millenium City's outskirts. </div>

Powers

Strength - His strength is enhanced to the proportionate level of a spider. This enables him to lift huge weights, and punch with much more force than a normal human.

Agility, Senses and Reflexes - His senses are enhanced to allow him to have the reflexes, and reaction times of a predatory spider. His reaction times are beyond peak human, able to dodge bullets and avoid most immediate danger.

Arachnocontrol - This is a unique power that allows him to find nearby arachnids, and imprint his consciousness onto them, thus controlling them.

Absolute muscle mimicry - This is his another aspect of his power. It allows him to not only mimic any muscular action, but memorise it perfectly too.

Skills

Knowledge - What makes him unique aren't his powers, but his knowledge. He combines it with his powers to gain the upper hand.

Attributes

Physique - His physique is that of an athlete, his body is pure muscle. This is because of his agility, and the fact that he keeps himself in top shape so he can fight crime. Or let it hit him in the face until it gets bored. Whichever works.

Intellect - His intellect is his one of his greatest weapons. It allows him to figure out the solutions to various problems, and, in conjunction to his cunning, it makes him a formidable fighter.

Will - He has an indomitable will. He never gives up, even if it means putting himself in extreme danger for someone else's sake.

Gear

Exosuit - His suit offers him protection and includes several defence mechanisms, such as a burst of superspeed, kinetic charges of fists.

"Web" Gun - He has a grapnel gun, which fires organic grapnels that stick to targets.

Gravity pulses - His suit features several gravity pulses in it. One in each hand and foot. These allow him to simulate flight and cling to walls.

Appearance

Wanderer stands at six feet tall, with a fighter's physique, due to his crimefighting career. He's not the tallest of people, but he's not actually that short either. Only slightly below average. Out of costume, he's lean, with his head shaved into a mohawk which he keeps unspiked. His body appears to be relatively unscarred, thanks to his natural healing factor enhancing the recovery of most injuries he sustains.

Nemeses

His first known enemy is The Huntsman. A brute of a man, with powers similar to, if not Greater than Wanderer's. And the size to back it up. Why he hates his heroic counterpart is unknown to him as of yet, but he seeks him out to destroy him. Their battles are known to be brutal, and their latest one ended in a Victory to the dashing hero as well as a brutal beating. But the villain ended up in prison

The next villain he found is a woman called Lorelei. Her telepathy manifested at a late age, it's primary form was a voice that could mesmerise people. She found that her looks, and the voice, led to men being more susceptible to it. As such, she called herself Lorelei. Whilst she is not as major a threat as The Huntsman physically, her powers lead her to be a far more insidious threat, able to commit crimes without people ever realising.

After this, he met a man in a tech suit claiming to be a better version of the hero than the original! The man called himself CySpider and showed a higher level of strength and speed than the hero, but far less brains, often being defeated by simple tricks.
