A Hand of Babylon is an individual that has vowed to defend humanity from all that would conquer or subvert it. The division known as the Babylonian Watch is concerned with meeting threats as they develop, from below, such as from Earth, and above, most prominently the various Dimensional Lords who seek dominion of Man, and beyond, things better left unknown. And so a Watchmaster is one who has endured the most perilous of worlds, fought the most dangerous of foes, and through all their trials maintain a fierce will, a sound mind, and a strong body.

The Hands of Babylon have their own forms of combat, each as well developed as any Western or Eastern technique. In fact virtually all of them are fusions of the two. This includes armed, unarmed, modern and ancient.

The High Watchmaster, then must be more than these things. His will must be firmer, his mind sharper, his body stronger.

===Watch Blade===

===Watch Blade===
A Watch Blade is among the finest swords humanity has ever created, it must be as it will clash with monstrous hides and arcane shields, doused in destructive liquids, and receive other even rougher treatments. As such, each blade is made of Babylonian Steel, a mystical metal developed by the first Hands of Babylon. The metal is extremely strong, if slightly heavier than regular steel and possesses traits of iron and silver, namely their effectiveness against Fae, Demons, Angels, Werewolves and other supernatural creatures. The metal possesses a remarkable ability to hold enchantments, even in magical "Dead" zones.
+
A simple, mass produced, blade. Extremely humble by the standards of enchanted weapons, but the properites of the metal that make up it make it unique. As with all weapons of the Hands, it is made of Babylonian Iron, a special metal created through a combination of alechmy and sorcery. The metal is stronger and heavier than steel, but it has a remarkable capacity to resist magic. The metal also possesses properties that make it more sangerous to supernatural creatures.

The process of forging a Watch Blade is largely identical to that of a normal sword, with one crucial exception. At certain point in the process, the soul of a deceased Hand of Babylon is embedded into the blade. This allows an innate affinity with the blade and more importantly prevents the blade from being used against other Hands.
+
===Watch Bow===
 +
A simple bow made of a modifed form of Babylonian Iron that is flexible.
 +
-Typically used with arrows made of yet another form of Babylonian Iron that is extreely lightweight, but far weaker than the type used for armor and weapons.

===Vigil's Aegis===
+
===Watch Uniform===
The Aegis is a Watchman's primary defense. It is a form fitting assortment of plates of Babylonian Steel, allowing virtually every movement the human body is capable of without sacrificing protection. The suit is highly resistant to slashing, cutting, and piercing, is completely bullet proof, though it is less effective at protecting against kinetic force.
+
Appearing to be little more than simple leather and cloth, the uniform is actually a suit of armor worn underneath. The armor is composed of a number of form fitting plates of Babylonian Iron. The plates are designed to fit together in such a away that virtually every human movement is permitted.

===Hammers of Hate===
+
An amulet enchanted by the Emperor of Babylon. It permits the High Watchmaster to go anywhere in Babylon without harrassment and total, unrestricted access to the library of Babylon. As the "Seal of the Office" it's holder is recognized outside of Babylon as a being of some importance.
Also known as the "Dragon's Embrace", this spell is among the most potent used by the Hands. To use it, the Hand focuses their hate, anger, and frustration into a crimson mist-like energy that is projected at the target. As per it's alias, the effects are violent and bloody, as the target is ripped apart at the smallest, but most painful, level.

The High Watchmaster is undeniably a stern individual. Nearly everything he does is done according to the traditions and laws of the Hands of Babylon. This is not to say that he is not fair, as he treats all individuals he meets with a level of kindness and respect, only ceasing this treatment if they prove to be a threat or do not show him a certain level of respect and kindness in turn. This demeanor is extended to the beings that he typically must fight, including angels and demons.
