The following Dossier contains all information regarding and related to the Meta-Human known as 'WITHER'. These files are for official viewing ONLY and not to be allowed into the hands of the public. Releasing said files will result in prosecution to the Fullest Extent of The Law under The Super-Powered and Meta-Human Secrecy Act; Sub-Section V, Article 12.
History
Dr. Clare Winslow was a Nuclear Physicist working a Nuclear Power Plant near Millennium City. She lived a normal life until a pair of dueling supers collided with the plant. The impact threw Clare through a structurally unsound wall and into the Nuclear Reactor. It was at this moment her long-dormant Meta-Genes activated, transforming her skin a glowing translucent green. She crawled from the Reactor and was taken to a hospital.
Fearing she would soon die- and unaware that her meta-genes prevented the radiation from harming her- she escaped from the hospital and ran back to her house. Once inside- she embraced her son; who was frightened by the sight of her. Unknowingly, due to her emotions running high at the time, she exposed her son to large amounts of radiation and he died in her arms.
Distraught and unwilling to seek help with her condition, Clare disappeared from the public. Some years later, she -as the Meta-Human 'Wither'- returned; not to fight crime and not to commit it, but merely to try and move on with her life.
