Because it's so easy to destroy. Even someone like me can do it. Even someone who doesn't fit in anywhere can do it. So I will burn everything down. Because Taras has shown me that this world is so damn broken, because I was not made for it, but I was forced to live in it. I will burn this entire world to ashes."

Yeling Mah is an 18 year old Chinese-American operative to the Contingency Initiative, serving Taras "Legion" Pax in Squad Four, under the supervision of Matthew "The Mirage" Lam. Yeling is tasked with elimination ops along with Squad Four, and uses his powers in a destructive manner to complete his objectives. Yeling is an extremely powerful pyrokinetic, his flames so hot and overwhelming that they are tinted a bright blue. The flames blasted from his hands are so great in magnitude that they resemble a tidal wave, giving the operative the moniker of Tidalflame.

Yeling is also a holder of the Dogma of Equivalent Exchange. Unlocking two levels.

Powers

Dogma of Equivalent Exchange: Like Matthew, Yeling possesses the power of the Dogma in his body, due to his mental state, poor physical attributes, and inability to fit in anywhere due to a combination of both. Yeling was given a chance at having a purpose by Taras Pax, to join the Contingency Initiative and advancing the Second Great War, allowing Yeling to use his powers at his fullest, with no reprimand. Like all users of the Dogma, levels of power must be unlocked through sacrifice. Yeling's Dogma Levels are unique to him, and has unlocked two levels currently.

Level 1 - Hinokami: Yeling sacrificed his family to achieve this level of power. This power was unlocked when Taras had approached the boy and convinced him to initiate a Dogma Bargain. Upon agreeing to the terms, Yeling's left arm instantly became engulfed with blue lines and demonic lettering, manifesting the flames of the Dogma, and his eyes became cyan blue in colour. These flames are extremely hot, far hotter than normal flames, and are said to be supernatural in affinity. Yeling has no limit as to how much flames he can generate, making his powers with pyrokinesis to be extremely potent.

When Yeling manifested this power, he had no control over it, and the flames incinerated his family in their home, killing them instantly. Devastated, Yeling wanted to take his own life, but Taras offered the boy a home in the Contingency Initiative, telling him that his life was never one to be cherished. All is left is to destroy, and to watch a world that so wronged him to burn to ash.

Over time, Taras taught Yeling to control his flames, to be more honed and even more concentrated, and overwhelming. Of all the members of the Contingency Initiative, Yeling is said to be the most destructive due to his powers.

Level 2 - Intangibility: Yeling sacrificed the right side of his face to achieve this power. By calling Level 2, Yeling's body becomes intangible, a mere ghostly blue flame. After honing on his skills, Yeling has been proven to be an extremely difficult opponent to defeat, and requires extremely careful precision and timing to land even a single blow. Only a few beings have been able to overcome Yeling's intangibility, including Matthew "The Mirage" Lam, Taras "Legion" Pax, and Logan "Metron" Woodley. All of which possess near superhuman combat skill.

Upon striking the Dogma Bargain to unlock Level 2, the entire right side of Yeling's face became horribly scarred, giving him a nightmarish appearance. Because of this, Taras gave the boy a mask that covered that side of his face during missions.

Super Moves

Yeling classifies his moves that are stronger than his conventional attack set as "super moves", each containing their own name. When Yeling uses certain supermoves using his Level 1 Dogma powers, he will sometimes mix it in with his Level 2 Dogma abilities to provide even stronger variants of his super moves.

• Level 1 Hinokami: Devil's Typhoon: Yeling stands still and unleashes his flames from his entire body, generating a massive tornado of blue fire. This area of effect attack was so potent, that upon calling Devil's Typhoon on a squad of guards, everyone was incinerated and reduces to ashes within a matter of seconds.

1. Hinokami and Intangibility: Super Devil's Typhoon: Calling even more of his flames, Yeling's attack becomes superpowered, and the potency of this attack is increased manifold. This move was so powerful that for a brief time, the entire Stormwatch Brigade was unable to put it out and were overwhelmed. This requires Yeling to use his Intangibility power in conjunction to his Hinokami power to achieve, without incinerating his own body.

• Level 1 Hinokami: Inverse Tsunami Release: Yeling superheats his arm, gaining an enormous flaming aura, and unleashes a torrent of flame comparable to a tsunami from the palm of his hand. These flames are unleashed in a wide conical fashion, and overwhelms the target by the sheer heat and magnitude of the blast. During Yeling's mission to invade a neighbouring village alongside Squad Four, Yeling was tasked to eliminate the village and to leave no survivors. Yeling completed the task by unleashing his ITR, which devastated the entire village and burnt it to ash with only one blast of flame.

1. Level 1 Hinokami: Double Inverse Tsunami Release: Yeling superheats both arms, and doubles the firepower of his flames. However, due to the power demand, Yeling cannot sustain the Double Inverse Tsunami Release for longer than fifteen seconds without burning his arms. This is one of the few abilities that cannot be offsetted by using his Level 2 Intangibility Dogma.

• Level 1 Hinokami: World on Fire: Yeling fires blasts of flame into the sky, which split off into a shower of fireballs. The potency of such a super move is comparable to a meteor shower, and has the greatest range of all of Yeling's attacks.

1. Hinokami and Intangibility: World on Fire - Flaming Galactica: An enhanced version of World on Fire, in which Yeling increases the intensity of his super move. The range of this attack is even greater, encompassing an exponentially larger blast radius This version requires both Level 1 and Level 2 to achieve without incinerating his body from the sheer amount of power demand.

• Level 2 Intangibility: Hellfire Embrace: Yeling activates his Level 2 Intangibility Dogma after grabbing his opponent or standing in their vicinity. The sheer heat of his flaming body incinerates his target. Since training with The Mirage, Yeling uses this ability in a strategic manner, sometimes baiting his opponents to closing the distance and then using the ability once their limbs pass through his intangible body.

• Level 2 Intangibility: Devil's Comet: Yeling activates his Level 2 Intangibility Dogma and leaps from a high place, his ghostly flaming body turning into a powerful comet as he lands into the ground violently. The shockwave of his impact causes a massive torrent of flame outwards in a large radius, dealing devastating damage. Yeling can also choose to reduce the magnitude of this shockwave by regulating his speed and streamlined ability upon fall. Yeling has used this ability both in stealth and outward elimination missions.

1. Hinokami and Intangibility: Devil's Meteorite: Calling upon both Level 1 and Level 2 increases the potency and blast radius of his Devil's Comet, essentially creating an upgraded version of it. This ability is said to be far more destructive than its Comet counterpart, but requires more power and stamina to pull off.

Ultimate Moves

Yeling reserves these abilities that require the most of his powers and are by far the most powerful attacks to be his ultimate moves.

• Level 1 Hinokami: Supreme Apocalypse: Yeling unleashes a massive beam of concentrated flames from his body. This beam is so destructive that upon contact, the sheer force of the collision decimated the entire prison building which is said to be about as wide as a football stadium, which is a testament to the sheer blast radius of the attack's contact alone. The beam's destructiveness was such to the point where it almost killed Squad One Leader Urca the Slicer, who was seemingly indestructible.

• Level 2 Intangibility: Avatar of Fire: To assist and complement Squad Four Leader Matthew Lam's Half Akuma Transformation, Yeling used his Level 2 Dogma to its max, and created a powerful flaming avatar to assist Matt in his battle against Joseph "The Guardian" Greziak's Vala Reincarnation Transformation. This form is both indestructible and highly destructive, as the flames of the Avatar are exponentially hotter than his normal flames. And his entire being sheer heat. The only offset of this, is that Yeling is only able to activate this ultimate form for five minutes, and any longer, will incinerate his body. After calling the ability, Yeling loses consciousness and is incapacitated for at leasts forty eight hours.
