Chiseled out of onyx, Infused with darkness, born into a world of light.

There were once rumors of a secret cult of demon-summoners here in MC. Also there were rumors of a hush-hush theft of an perfect onyx gargoyle. And then there were newsreports of a bloodbath in a community-center of a certain sect here in this very city, right before The Invasion hit.

Of course none of those have ANYTHING to do with oneanother.

Description: Weighting just over a ton, sculpted of pure onyx, this creature stands taller than most men. Capable of waiting and observing in utter silence for hours, days or even weeks. Always waiting, always watching. During this periods it is utterly motionless.

To all senses it is just a statue... if you can probe for a mind or soul you will find a void that threatens to suck you in. Sometimes the statue smells of blood though...

When it moves it is with the cold confidence of a merciless murderer, devoid of compassion or emotion. It's voice, if ever heard, has a compassionless, echoing quality. That in combination with rows upon rows of jagged, pointed teeth tends to unnerve people with sane mindsets. The fact that its grin sometimes is far wider than it should possibly be doesn't help either.

If it is active the "hair", claws, eyes and lips take on a scarlet hue. The rest of the time it is just the color of polished onyx from horn to claw.

When it howls it echoes enormously regardless of environment and sometimes people notice a deep seated feeling of loss but can't pinpoint it.

Though not impervious to harm it is incredibly frustrating to destroy Zillah Jerusha Sela... chipped-off parts fill with a shadow that solidifies and replaces the lost parts. If utterly annihilated it eventually reforms out of a shadow nearby some time later.
