The People

"Hey. Name's Arachnophobia. Sorry, I'm new at this."

Arachnophobia is a new hero that's often found patrolling the streets of the Theatre District. He seems tobpay special attention to tourists, protecting them from petty criminals after an easy score. Other than this his powers and personality tend to run counter to one another. A general chatterbox that's happy in the spotlight with powers that excel when used from the shadows.

The Law

"Hey man, don't be such a tool about this."

Arachnophobia remains an unregistered hero due to an apparent distrust of giving the government "full power" over him. Despite this, PRIMUS has figured out a small number of facts about him. The first being he's likely the same person as an unnamed vigilante that operated out of Los Angeles for a short period of time. The second being that he's likely of Chinese decent. They've also come to understand the basic abilities of the specific breed of spiders that live inside his body through collecting various specimens from various crime scenes.

The Criminal Element

"Don't worry. Your arms and legs will work again in abooooout... Pffsssh, I dunno, five-ish hours? The cops should be here first to pick you up anyway so sit tight."

PRIMUS' hunch that he previously operated out of Los Angeles is correct. And the Red Arm Gang there have also connected the unnamed vigilante to Arachnophobia. They can't wait until they have the time to make a trip over to Millennium City and pay him back for all the trouble he's caused them.

The Hero Duds

"My outfit is surprisingly comfy for being able to stop a bullet."

Arachnophobia's outfit is reinforced with the (extra) strong silk his spiders can spin, giving it flexibility while still being strong enough to block small arms fire.

History

Early Life

Cho was born to a pair of illegal immigrants in Los Angeles, California. Often found protesting, Cho's parents fled China to avoid persecution. Having eventually arrived in Los Angeles they settled down in the China Town area. Soon after Cho was born.

Very early on in his life he could feel them. The countless spiders inside him, their legs moving between flesh and skin. He was itchy to say the least. No one believed him of course. Tests showed nothing and there was already a mental disorder that neatly explained everything. It was just the easier answer. But OF course everyone was wrong. As he would discover, he was filled with spiders.

Personality

"How do you like, describe how a person is?"

A normally easy going, agreeable sort. Often described as incredibly liberal, he values personal freedoms above all else and seems to have a near innate dislike for any large organizations from government agencies to private businesses. He's also prone to bouts of paranoia due to a lack of sleep.

Powers & Abilities

Spider Nest

"OH GOD IT ITCHES!!!"

Arachnophobia's body is home to hundreds, possibly even thousands of spider. While the spiders often do what he wants, he has no direct control or means of communication with him. They seem to just instinctively know what he desires from them and act accordingly.

Fake Web-Slinger

"Damn, that looks like fun."

Arachnophobia lacks all the wall crawling and web-slinging powers most other spider thened heroes have. He can however emulate them with enough spiders.
