The Atlantean race accidentally came from Mars. They are aquatic humanoid races. When the Angels flooded the Earth on order. They opened portals that drain the water on Mars to Earth. Unknowingly they destroyed this civilization and the survivors vowed to not communicate with the land dwellers out of fear. They also bread with the Sirens which were once human women cursed into sea creatures (mermaids) for mating with fallen Angels.
