==History==
His exact origins unknown, Gorrak was born and raised in Westside, likely by a small group of mutants living in a reclusive sanctuary. Hidden away from the world, both those who would do harm and those who strive to help others, the mutant group's intentions seem to have been the continued preservation of their lives and mutant strains. Gorrak (his name at birth is unknown) was one of the mutants, and seemingly gifted with a mutation that was mostly beneficial. Despite his monstrous face and large proportions, he did not suffer from any adverse generic changes, and was able to fully utilize the unrestricted muscle-growth his mutant gene provided him.

Gorrak's beginnings are unknown to all. Those secretive few who study magic suggest Gorrak may be from the Faeire Realm, the Land of Legends where all those from folk lore and mythology exist, whose magic lets him traverse the Astral Plane. Tinkerers who deal with astounding technological devices, say Gorrak may be anything from mutant to alien, who uses advanced science of the far future to manipulate time and space to his will. No matter what his origins may be, the basic facts of Gorrak's existence are relatively easy to comprehend, even if the details may be impossible to discern.

Modeling his persona around the popular culture of the 21st century, Gorrak claims to be an Orc. The only evidence he uses to substantiate this claim is his impossibly natural, herculean physique, green skin, large tusks and teeth, slightly pointed ears, and enthusiasm for warfare, adventure, and really large axes. The most astonishing claim Gorrak makes, even more so than his declared species, is his ability to travel through space and time.

For some time he served as one of the resident guardians of his adopted family, before stepping out onto the streets of Millennium City for the first time, and discovering an entire world he had been hidden away from. His efforts at encouraging the group of mutants to exit to the surface going unheeded, Gorrak decided to leave without them, and explore the new world he had found on his own. Uncertain what to expect on the streets of Westside, Gorrak was eventually compelled to fight, when he came across some of the fierce and territorial gangs that ruled the dilapidated streets. Eventually come across by heroes fighting in Westside, Gorrak was introduced to the modern struggles of heroes, villains, criminals and the police, and was further told some of the history regarding the city that he had only ever known the underground of. Accepting his new place in society, Gorrak decided to use his strength to fight crime.

Seemingly able to do such an extraordinary thing at his own will and convenience, Gorrak asserts he has journeyed to places all around Earth, from periods as early as the Stone Age, to as late as the 31st Century. He alleges he was present during many historically significant moments and conflicts throughout the several latest millennia in which humans have resided in civilized fashion on the planet.

Gorrak claims that the 21st century is the most vital century to determining the success of continuing propagation of the human species, and that he thus returns to this current time in history, to do what he can to benefit the human race. Whether it's as simple as preventing a certain individual's personal belongings from being taken from them, or assisting a government organization in pursuing an initiative, Gorrak's ability to travel through time has enabled him to do much good in the fight against crime and super-villainy.

Description

Stocky, musclebound and towering over the average individual, Gorrak possesses a mostly humanoid appearance accented with some bestial traits: a wild beard, spiky eyebrows, tusks, pointed ears and a stubby nose. These traits, combined with his green skin and enormous, inhumanly muscular build separate him from the rest of humanity, resembling certain creations of modern fiction, and as such he is not unused to being called an "orc".

History
