Appearance & Personality
Sardonic, rude, and with an incredibly stubborn, abrasive disposition that is so practiced it has become second nature. Dean is a six foot two man with a gruff aspect to his features possessing a very distinctive right arm. He seems just what one would expect from the punk slash goth subculture. His hair is nothing but an oddly designed vertical patch of hair going from forehead to the base of his neck with individual bangs hanging off the side. The reason for the hairstyle is actually quite sentimental, however.
Dean is a man of many faces however. The delinquent, the taciturn, the mage, all being among a few of those that he wears. He presents himself in public with general disinterest, showing an almost genuine apathetic expression in any outlet. This, however, is part of an act, the presentation, and not leaving a noticable impression. Growing up in a monastery with a practiced sense of calmness, he actually is rarely truly angered. There are times however, the other aspects of his personality become so distinctively sincere that its hard to tell, even for himself. Depending on the affair, he's more than willing to add as much brash and vulgar language to the presentation, bringing with him off-putting, rebuking, and unconquerable animosity.
Despite what he presents, there's a lot more going on with Dean than most would realize. Compassionate and intellectual, he's quite capable of doing whatever is necessary to stick to his own moral guidelines. Although he plays to an act, it do not define who he is. He's a adamant believer in sustaining sentient life and refuses to use his talents to control another's body; he see's it as morally unjust to eliminate free-will of the person. He also tries to make it a point to avoid butting in on other's choices and preferences, knowing it's not his place and how the habit can be rather infuriating. Dean's also quite keen on personal hygiene despite his living conditions and skills. He refuses to drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes in the belief it would inpurify his source of magic - his blood. The most static aspect of his disposition would be the aura of self-awareness and confidence.

Powers & Abilities
Dean has the inherent power in his blood to fuel spell-casting. This is an ancient version that predates word-based magic and was considered by some to be more powerful, taught to him while growing up within an occult monastery. His capabilities aren't very innovative but they are practiced and due to moral restriction he has put emphasis in other areas of its utilization. Alongside his magic usage, Dean has learned very basic hand-to-hand combat techniques and general skills one would expect to find within a freelance worker.
- Blood Transformation: Dean is capable of changing liquids into blood. This includes generating the water molecules around him within a five foot radius to produce blood instead to give him more ammunition.
- Haemopotent Regeneration: Dean is capable of regenerating himself (or others) with blood being the medium. The speed and the severity of the wounds requires different intervals of blood.
- Enhanced Physiology: Dean can manipulate his own blood to increase his density, muscle mass, or otherwise alter his physiology to grant him enhanced strength, speed, and stamina.
- Blood Propulsion: Dean is capable of moving in short distances rather quickly by propelling himself using blood as a medium.
- Blood Attacks: Dean is capable of using blood in various offensive ways, such as: formulated blood blasts, blood infusion (to objects), blood wave emission, reflective blood attacks, or blood beams. This is also not limited to projectile based offense either, as Dean is also capable of infusing blood to his physical attacks.
- Blood Constructs: Dean can turn blood around him into a solid to form it into tools, objects, weapons, or other items. They can be semi-living and/or structures. This suggests he is able to willingly control the field of battle if given the right amount of blood in a situation.
Weaknesses
Dean's abilities are strictly dependent on nearby source of blood or liquid. If he is able to locate any, such in an extremely dry area, he is almost completely helpless. His powers can also be rendered useless in extreme heat or cold temperatures due to the blood either evaporating before fully usage or being frozen solid. He also periodically has to resort to using his own blood as a source to empower his magics. This can lead to injury, health risks, and even, under rare conditions, lead to potentially fatal circumstances.
Equipment & Artifacts
Marionette Graft
Dean is the only possessing individual alive today to know what the Crimson Marionette is. This is only because half of his right arm is a part of the summoned entity his monastic occult sect conceived in the past. It's full capabilities are still largely unknown even to Dean himself, but he has a general grasp on its few purposes. The Crimson Marionette was a construct made out of animating blood and placed within a durable exterior to make a golem. It's purpose was to offer the mage a defensive ally while also being a secondary source of blood to empower its spells. Naturally, if the blood deplenished, the Marionette would fall into debris and await it's next usage. Dean does not know what the material of stone used is, but he knows it is enchanted to be supernaturally durable.
- Blood Pool: The graft contains an internal pool of blood that is able to be replenished.
- Blood Absorption: In order to replenish the blood pool, the Marionette Graft has to absorb the sources of blood around it. Unforunately for Dean, it only really takes blood that hasn't been generated or transformed; it has to be from a living creature.
- Security System: Dean has experienced the Marionette Graft's ability to take over his body by tapping into his own blood to prevent him from being controlled through external means. This is both magical and psionic in nature.
